I have been thinking about getting into PoE for a long time but I was very late to the party with 1 so I never did, it was overwhelming to me. I finally decided to try 2 because I got a new PC and wanted to test it on some pretty graphics and I gotta say I love the game so far - I just entered the interludes close to 30 hours in and I would say the game already gave me more that enough fun to warrant the price. Apart from the graphics, which are gorgeous, I also enjoy the combat systems and the gearing options, which are pretty exhaustive. It being still in EA, I don't feel as crushed by all the stuff that will undoubtedly eventually be put into the game and the experience is just thoroughly enjoyable to the point that it actually suprised me. It's just relaxing watching all the effects as dozens of enemies die all over the screen on with just two abilities of my witch. Bonus points for the music and especially the dialogue and the voice acting, I love the witch's sarcasm and unyielding self-confidence!

TL;DR The game is great for the price, it looks amazing and is just fun.

This is the ultimate action rpg, good enough to make you buy a controller, learn to use it and be so damned happy for it. Much has been said and written about the game so I will say no more, just wanted to add my praise on the mountain of them that's already here:)

This game is like crack. I played the original W3 mod for a couple years back in the days, drifted to other games in the meantime, but now I am back for about half a year and I am fairly sure I am not going anywhere for a looooong time. Insanely high skill cap, huge space for cool and difficult plays, literally infinite replayability, awesome tournament plays to look at, sweet graphics, hats - this gem has it all. The only downside is the alpin-like steepness of the learning curve for people who are not veteran but i truly believe that anyone with an interest in challenging multiplayer games will enjoy and benefit from the learning experience if they can embrace their noobishness. DotA2 is so difficult even the best pros of the best sometimes ♥♥♥♥ up hard so there is really no reason to worry about failures and not enjoy this brilliant masterpiece.
