In some ways the combat was a bit dull; shoot dodge, shoot dodge, shoot dodge. Boss fights consisted of simple arcade style maneuvers, but were usually pretty interesting. The combat was fun in other ways as well, the array of weapons available made it interesting, but sometimes easy. I did have to notch down the difficulty from 3/3 to 2/3.

The game presents an extremely graphic visual novel. A rather good, immersive story. Considering the many horror sci-fi games out there, I think this one has a spot among them. If you've already played Prey and Dead Space, you'd enjoy this as a game to almost capture a similar vibe.

For 13 hours of game play to complete the story, half of which was done on the hardest difficulty, the game does not meet the general standard of "getting my moneys worth". I'd pick this up when it's on sale.

Brother and I are about 9 hours into this game, and it's amazing. There are bugs, sure... Like ANY other game. But the brilliance and meticulousness in implementing survival needs into this open world rpg game, have been done really well. I think the combat is pretty damn good. So many paths, armors, strategies needed to survive in combat, and in the wild. I can't wait to continue playing through this game. And I can't wait to see what these developers are capable of in the future. Great job! I've been looking for a game to play, just like this for so long!!!
