If you thought Cultist Simulator's vibe was neat but you didn't like the roguelite treading water or lack of interesting graphics, this is for you.

And if you did like Cultist Simulator, you'll appreciate the new QoL in the systems (the studying system is so much better in this one) and the numerous callbacks. You'll recognize a lot of books, people, and current events (one incident is straight-up a CS character achieving a Knock victory), but see and use them from new interesting angles.

Not nearly as bad as the other reviews make it seem. Nothing is even really bad apart from some of the writing.

Probably the greatest RPGMaker game I've ever seen. Truly stellar story.
