It's alright

Call of Karen is a fun little game where the Eldritch demon in your house is more helpful and likable than your husband and son.
You play a 1950's housewife in typical 1950's America; cook breakfast, clean the eldritch slime from your ceiling, deal with nosy neighbors, cook dinner, and don't forget to liberally apply holy water to the meatloaf when it runs from you!

This game is a great way to kill a bit of time, and I'd love to see more of it, but really, it's exactly as long as it needed to be to tell the story.

When my boyfriend suggested this game, I took a look at the screenshots and was a little bit surprised that he would suggest something so \"cute\" and sceptical of how much fun this would be. Upon first delving into my own world I thought \"Okay, it\'s minecraft\" but I soon found out that it\'s so much deeper, and much more fun than minecraft. I can not recommend this game highly enough (if you\'re into the genre).

This early access game is definitely on its way to being one of my favourites! Great job, devs!

It\'s also free, so if you try it and don\'t love it, you\'re not losing anything! What are you waiting for? just try it already!

The pros:
Character customization is okay
game controls are semi-intuitive and not terrible
graphics are decent
Game area is expansive and you never run out of things to explore

The cons:
The other people in GTA online
Inability to actually do missions with friends (come on EA, it's not that hard...)
unskippable cutscenes
unskippable (except before starting) tutorial
so many more...

I defintely would recommend spending your money on something better...

From the outside looking in, this game is pretty hard to take seriously, but step into their world, and the hordes of zombies will show you exactly how serious things can get...

Overall, this is a great, *fun* zombie game that kept myself and my bf entertained for days on end.

Collect supplies, farm, fight off hordes, build a base, survive... and even play dress-up! (no? just me? okay)

After reinstalling this and playing again for the first time in a while, I noticed that pretty much everything was redone... usually this is a great thing, but this time it seems like the devs took this game and went "hm..... how can we make this game less fun?" and took out everything that previously benefitted the player.

Cons:
-Menu screens are clunkier, no more back button, or explanation on how to get out of the menu,
-stat bar is nerfed and runs out much faster than before, and fills slower
-zombies now go into feral mode at night and become impossibly horrible
-no more gas tanks at farms
-items no longer stack.... at all... except for ammo
-backpack capacity is now based on items shape instead of weight
-PVP is ON by default, but there's no indication of this anywhere
-many many many more...

Pros:
+Map!

I tried this game during steam's free to play weekend weekend and had the least amount of fun that I've ever had playing a racing game. The cars handle like the track has been greased, the physics are wonky, and the game overall is just not enjoyable. I'm a huge fan of the racing genre, and even though I'm not great at racing games most of them at least manage to be entertaining, this one was just bad.
