My only issue is that the episodes were too short. I need more! this is a great first step to continue making more games like this!

I just wish it had more gameplay, I was really invested in my team succeeding that I wish there was at least more things to do like a day to day thing and you only progress the story if you choose to do so.

the story and art was superb it always had me wanting more, the ending no matter what route it ended on was satisfying at best.

I hope to see more stuff from AdHoc!

Game is fun for me and keeps me entertained, people need to relax. you feel as though you own part of the companies stock, its a "free 2 play" game.

Hats off, where should I begin? I couldn't have imagined how much of a masterpiece this game was!

Honestly Baldur's Gate 3 was a breath of fresh air. I never was or have ever played DND to become a fan or follower of it. BG3 opened these doors to new possible opportunities that left me speechless! I still dont understand the mechanics as the game itself played it out entirely and I just follow the story, it was such a bumpy start for me as I did not know my calling or what class I was going to use to get through to endgame. I had multiple starts and was about to give up as I couldnt really find a class I want to play as (maybe because I din't understand the mechanics or how I can get through the game) I love playing games on the highest difficulty, there I was shifting through classes and trying to figure out which one was for me until I found some guides for the paladin. I started from there and sat down for the entirety of it.

From there my journey through the game was incredible! landscape, ambiance, soundtrack, gameplay, countless side stories and much more to mention. it was a fairy tale created by my character. the combat left me coming back for more as I kept trying to find ways on being tactical and creative. I've never had such fun in a game for such a long while and BG3 got me hooked, I think im growing old and havent been able to find an entertaining game as of late so a big kudos to Larian for reviving my love for gaming once more.

Baldur's Gate 3 for me is the gamechanger that RPG needed over the years and I can say that the DND community gained a new follower in me.

Good day fellow students.

For the past two weeks I have been drowning myself in the wizarding world and let me tell you that it was such a pleasant and fun experience overall. now its far from a "Masterpiece" rating which I rated only 1 game to this date which was The Witcher 1 but rather its own little unique category of "Wizarding".

Today I share to you my thoughts on the game and how I see this game take off to hopefully a wonderful franchise series. its a good start really for avalanche. and BTW I wont include spoilers so read away for those who wish to and have not really played the game or finished it.

Story:
Overall the story was there. it could have been really good if the writing impact did make an impact . I honestly was hoping for some drama along the way but this story was too "Heroic" for my taste. one of the things I look forward to a story was how immersing it would be to me as a player and to the universe itself that I am playing but HEY! its a good start avalanche its a good story nonetheless just too perfect of a heroic story for my taste.

The friendship side quests were just there. like literally they were JUST THERE. why personalize students with their names just so they could be side content stories? I only felt a connection with Sebastian because of the curses he taught but other than that.. the big miss was I feel they were not real friends that I wish I needed during "Sometime later down the story line where I NEEDED THEM" (no spoilers)

also side note; what a miss opportunity that was when we were doing the "In the shadow ---" quest line. mannn it would have been such a trip if story consequences made sense.

Gameplay:
Game play was very fun! Combat was smooth although a few hiccups with targeting but overall it was fun flinging spells and building my character. I would find myself just running to the wilderness looking for something to kill. I do wish however in the DLCs in future to have more enemies and make it a real threat cause after a few levels and unlocking spells I think I hardly needed to think and just start combo-ing.

Unlockables were also fun from, flying runs to finding chests to doing trials to crafting at RoR (room of requirement) and more... I think the gameplay was just right and it really dint feel tedious.

In general I dint feel bored at all!

Sound:
I mean growing up with harry potter hearing the familiar or close to familiar sounds just speaks for itself. its not praiseworthy and it isnt garbage, sound was good and it filled the necessary dullness whilst venturing.

Replay Value
Honestly if the combat wasnt as fun I wouldnt want to do all that overagain. Story is linear and usually thats why people will mostly replay a game is cause they want "Another" route so thats out of the question. I would probably replay it cause of the combat and trying a different approach of a build I did not use on my other playthrough.

Nothing to fancy if you played it the first time round story doesnt really change that much eh, I did however rate it 5 instead of 4 due to my hunger to still play this game even after achieving 100% collection, finishing the game on hard difficulty, and wanting more things to do. that says alot coming from me. (I hardly would want to continue once I finish a game)

Difficulty
I usually play my games at the hardest difficulty.. this started during The Witcher Gaming Era that I had back around the 2010s-2019s and it moved onto other games, so long as the game can compliment the combat I would use the hardest difficulty. now how does that work for me, I usually look into how does crafting work, how are the combos in a game and what are the limitations playing if I were to be a sadistic freak.

Playing on hard was hard, it really was at the start of the game where you havent unlocked everything yet and still getting used to the combat. I found myself restarting or dying more often times than I should and after a few classes here and there unlocking some spells, crafting potions and upgrading my talent points I found the difficulty becoming easy. so if you took hardmode and feel like giving up just dont itll be 1shots here and there after a while due to your gear.

Note; I relocated "protego" to my mouse key to make it easier to deflect stuff after that it was really easy to block I would just needed to be mindful of things happening but if you'd ask me I honestly still get overwhelmed in combat sometimes, trying to switch hotbars, timing dodge and protego, making sure I broke the right color shield and if you ask me curses made it easier once unlocked so pick your poison.

Bug Free?
Hardly, game still needed a fix and im sure everybody is aware of the infamous FPS drops and stuttering despite your rig value. I mean game was playable if you can get past that but overall I really couldnt and had to use third party options such as nvdia tweaks and applying some files to make it "ALITTLE" stable which I still get drops not as much but playable.

Stuff would also break too like if you depluso puzzle blocks it sometimes glitches inside walls, or trying to accio some balls from merlin trials they would freeze inplace and you'd have to floo powder your self away, doors sometimes dont open. but yeah im not really the person that would complain but it does impact trying to continue playing.

PC Requirements
5 star this ♥♥♥♥ cause I think you need a damn NASA PC to run this without stuttering at this state.

Game Length
Its alright, the game was quite longer than I expected. its a fresh air to see a game actually complete by release! despite there being bugs and all.

ADDITIONAL
DLC. DLC. DLC! AVALANCHE! YOU'RE GOING TO MISS OUT ON A HUGE AMOUNT OF FANBASE IF YOU DONT DO THIS!!!

Theres quite alot of potential upcoming stories as DLC and could make the game into a whole franchise, the base game is already there!

-Background story for the maincharacter
-In the shadow of revenge/reconciliation
-QUIDITCH!!!
-Tri-Wizard tournament
-Other Schools/Outside world Drama
-Ministry of Magic Drama
-Azkaban Serial Killer Drama
-Ancient Magic Story Continuation/Another antagonist who can use Ancient Magic

So much story content could unfold after Hogwarts Legacy: Ranrok story line it can open so much plot! BUILD ON THE BASE GAME ITS SUCH A GOOD START TO A POTENTIAL FRANCHISE AVALANCHE!

ALSO I WANT TO ADDRESS;
Why I mentioned The Witcher so much and compared its two separate games which are nothing alike.
Well yeah, I know that. maybe cause its something as interesting and a potential to be like the franchise if given the right love and support.

I played Destiny 1 on PS4 ran with a great clan back 2015 during taken king, maxed all 3 classes gear scores. so yeah I do have a history with D1 and IT was an experience I cant forget. Destiny 2 never really flew under my radar maybe cause I had other games and in real life things to do.

Year is 2022, December 25. I decide to pickup Destiny 2 on steam to see whats up, one word says it all "Messy".
yes for me its a hot mess, what the heck happened to the transition from D1 to D2, I am a huge lore guy and it broke my immersion playing Destiny 2 being thrown to this and that without at least a reason what happened from 1 going to the 2nd. at least have a linear progression with locked content as story progresses!

I heard they took out the red war campaign and swapped it with the new player experience thing with Han. I probably wouldnt have mind that IF I WAS A NEW PLAYER. I know the story of Destiny 1 and it just doesnt sit right with me. have an option for those who played Destiny 1 and not just throw us some updated content.

I cant explain how confused at the same time fun this game is. I recommend you just pick it up and go try it out for yourself.
The game is quite vast so you may encounter some wtf's here and there but thats the beauty of it. Death Stranding is the game you'd surely want to keep an eye on.

Ive played this game since 2003 and placed thousands of hours on this game and spent probably more than I have ever imagined, This game is a true OG Roleplaying game where you decide what to do. its not your typical MMORPG where you do this or that, go here to point a and b, kill said (amount) of goblins, its more than that and I personally advise you, if you havent tried it. experience it.

Runescape is no other and there will be no other MMO like Runescape.

I need not write a long review. Its either you grew up with the game or not will be your own personal opinion on how you determine the game.

Honest opinion/review of a gamer that cant stand a massively openworld single player game.

I played "The Witcher: Enhanced Edition DIrectors Cut", "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings" all these on steam.

Not knowing what to expect, I have had an amazing experience with the first and second game.

I am a huge RPG nerd and a sucker for story driven games! when the WItcher 3 was announced I preordered the game on PS4. I played both the first and second Witcher's on PC but decided to get a laid back version of the game to do some "couchbum" playthroughs (The most comfortable gaming experience) I honestly was breathtaken with the third installment of the game even for it being dumbed down on graphics I still had a really great time with my first blind playthrough. choosing wisely on what to do with choice consequence, having to choose certain skills when leveling up, unlocking areas one by one, doing contracts in the open world, shaping my Geralt to be the badass monster slayer that he is, learning more about his past, and many more to mention within one sitting.

But here lies the problem that I faced. it was too much for me, quite far from the first and second installment of the game as it was too "Openworldly"(if thats even a word).

An openworld game where you experience a journey like no other. I was.. very overwhelmed! to the point I put the game down and never touched it again.

Years later they announced the Witcher 3 on the Nintendo Switch, I immediately got it and started playing again.

Again.. I was too overwhelmed by everything as someone who really loved RPG..just plain out wont touch one of the greatest RPG Games of all time. IRONIC isnt it?

the switch version was an almost perfect for me as it was a lighter version, could bring it anywhere and play anywhere. but one of the things that I couldnt bare with was the loading times. honestly would have been a better experience if it could load faster. so I dropped it again..

Flash forward to this year, 2020 and with what the world is experiencing right now and all these implementations of lockdown.
I decided to face it again and start playing. I played it on the switch again, still couldnt bare the loading times,I then switched over to PC as I felt the need to maybe mod the experience and help me continue playing this game once and for all.

Dont get me wrong here nothing is wrong with the Witcher 3, I. ABSOLUTELY. LOVE. IT.
Its just that maybe im one of the few who cant really stand a big openworld especially having OCD I must finish all quests, read all books, read character and monster bio's. here lies the problem. I know its me so before you criticize know that I already know my problem.

Still though..

Do I still recommend The Witcher 3?

I highly recommend this game even though im years late from providing my recommendation :)

Masterpiece/10
