I would have to say I don't recommend this game because care was not used when optimizing it. Moving from town to the mine is horrible. The game freezes and glitches. I do however like the digging and dirt mechanics. It's just tooo bad that the devs left the game in such a glichy state :( I could have really gotten into this game. It would be a good time waister to just sit back and chill when you want to vibe.

I don't typically write reviews, but I must say that I needed to write one about this game. I am a huge doom fan from back in the day. My friends and I would stay up late making doom levels and blowing away demons to wee hours in the morning. When I started playing this version of doom I had no idea I would be thrown back in to a whirl wind of nostalgia and epic story line that has so beautifully been crafted. I played on Ultra Violent and it was everything I hoped for and more. I played for 20+ hours did almost nothing else totally sucked into the gates of hell and reborn in the epic saga of doom. Very well done guys Very well done! if you were ever a doom fan you will love just love this remake. It is how doom was meant to be in all its demon slaying glory!
