Hey I have used previous versions of RPG maker, and I really wanted this one, it was 50% off, I havent gotten to use this one yet, but they older ones allowed you to do two things with your games, zip the files to send to people with RPGmaker for them to run test plays, and make an installable so people could just play it even with out RPG makes, so I think they still offer both, if you download peoples games I would just make sure they come with the install and not the base the files
