Hands down the best kart-racer I've played in years. All around more fun that that dominant kart-racing franchise.

The tracks and racers are well designed; colorful, varied and imaginative. Having multiple vehicles per track (car, boat, plane) may seem a bit gimmicky, but it works since all three control very differently. It adds a nice variety to the races and keeps players on their toes.

I can't speak for the online play, but local split screen is a blast. I've had lots of fun working through the campaign via couch co-op with friends.
