This game is a masterpiece. Yes, it may be a top down arcade game, something that could make sim fans look elsewhere, but its physic engine really puts many sims to shame (for me, it's the second best rally game after the great old Richard Burns Rally). Once you get the hang of the driving model, you will be hooked forever, AoR really is a work of love, and it shows it every moment you play. The only downside for me is that wheels are not officially supported, so they can work or not, but it's not a great problem in the end. It's a game meant to be played with a gamepad, but it's surprisingly good with a keyboard too. It has more than 50 cars (plus some "extras"), ranging from group 2 to group A, and 8 rallies (Finland, Sardinia, Japan, Norway, Germany, Kenya, Indonesia and, with the dlc, Australia), for a total of 84 (96 with the Australia dlc) stages, considering normal and reverse versions (complete with daylight, night, fog, rainy/snowy conditions). Graphics speaks for themselves: Its wonderful, minimalistic art style is simply beautiful to look at, it's like looking at a childhood dream come true, with little cars running in amazing dioramas. It has beautiful replays and an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G photo mode to make every virtual photographer happy, especially now that you can create and/or import custom made liveries. It also has an amazing soundtrack. If you love cars, rally, or simply a game that you can easily pick up and play for a few minutes (but remember, this is one of those games where you say "just five minutes more" and then you look at the clock and hours have passed :) ) there's really no reason for not buying Art Of Rally. Do it. You won't be disappointed.
