This game surprised me. The combat was fun and unique, but where this game shines is the story and atmosphere. Unapologetically grim and brutal while keeping you wanting for more, paired with a wonderfully beautiful and somber score to match the story.

I would highly recommend this as a must-play for any lovers of a good albeit grim story.

I thought I'd hate the RPG mechanics compared to the usual Yakuza gameplay. It certainly isn't a replacement but they really make it work. Good story as usual, with some crazy substories, you get a a total of 7 party members to join your group of 4, only one being optional, tied to a substory.

Overall its the same Yakuza you've come to love with a rather different playstyle.

It's severely lacking in the Karaoke department however.

I know the games fun but if i cant even play it theres a problem.

Why did I even download this? Same casual game with the same tactics and the same meh gameplay. Why add controller support to a game where people who use it will be at such a disadvantage? 2/10 Unistalled.

This is the a really well made game of this style. I've never been so emotionally involved in any game. The choices they give you always leave you wondering if you chose the right decision, no matter how many times you change yours decision you still second guess

I'd recommend this to anyone who loves great story-telling and stories that pull you in.
