It's a fun and free Pay Day alternative. Performance could use some work, though.

Rock and Stone! The beautiful sound of teamwork!

I've never played a game quite like this one. It truly is something special.

Days Gone is great. While there are some clichés (what game lacks them?), I thought the story was compelling. It's a real shame Sony said no to Bend making a sequel.

Not gonna lie, the ending feels a little rushed. I'd still give it at least a 7/10.

I started with Yakuza 0, and went into Yakuza Kiwami with some of the skills I learned there. Yakuza Kiwami 2 is on a different Engine, however, and not everything seems to carry over. However, I am having a lot of fun playing this, and would highly recommend it if you enjoyed 0 or Kiwami (or the original Yakuza and Yakuza 2, which I never played).

Like Kiwami, Kiwami 2's writing is a little rough in some places. But keep in mind that Yakuza and Yakuza 2 came out in 2005 and 2006 respectively, and that Yakuza 0 was the 7th released game in the series; so of course it was a bit better written as it came out after they had at least 6 games behind them. This doesn't mean I think the writing is bad, though. It's just got that mid 2000s PS2 era vibe to it... seeing as they're remakes of mid 2000s PS2 era games.

All in all, I do recommend this game, as well as Kiwami and 0. I wouldn't take my word too highly though, seeing as I only managed 20~% of Yakuza 0 (at this time), and 65~% of Yakuza Kiwami (at this time), and am in no way a completionist. However, despite those low percentages, I did complete the main story for both and enjoyed them thoroughly.

It's sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical nature is something to adore. When one moment you could be fighting for your life, and then the next you're in a Karaoke bar singing 24-Hour Cinderella.

Was a little dissapointed when I found out I couldn't co-op the actual story, though it's on me for not properly researching the game first. However, the co-op gamemodes are still pretty cash and about make up for that.

For a 7 year old game, it's really good.

I've never reached 1000 hours on a game before. It's pretty cash money.
