The core game is interesting and fun but relies on RNG for difficulty far too much, especially on high stakes. Specifically trying to complete the Completionist++ achievement is based on just spending time trying to get that RNG to work many, many times and just repeatedly replaying the most frustrating part of the game hoping you get lucky.

Good gameplay, gun handling is amazing and the overall feel of the game is just great. The problem is Arrowhead seems to have a very narrow definition of how they want the players to play the game and anything that is outside of that, be it strategies to beat levels, weapons that become "too" popular or things that are named "bugs" after the playerbase has been using them as a core mechanic for months, simply get removed or nerfed to the point they aren't fun.

Arrowhead fundamentally don't understand how to balance their game outside of whatever narrow definition of "This is how you're supposed to play and interact with the game" that they have that they also seem to have trouble articulating to the playerbase.

Arrowhead says they have learned, they say things will be better and they say they will approach balance and patches differently, then just do things exactly the same but take longer to do it.

Great core game, but the live service aspect of balance and adjustment turns it into a mess where whatever fun thing brings joy might be useless after the next patch with no viable alternatives.

It's fun to hop into for a few games but once you start getting to the "challenging" matches there's no sometimes no indication of why your guys lose, or how your opponent manages to get 5 of the same large and expensive minion on the board within a few seconds. Balance is just unsatisfying.

GoT was a very frustrating experience overall. I enjoyed what Walking Dead Telltale games I've played, even if most of the choices are illusion. In GoT often you're left with choices that don't seem to make sense, don't have any indication of what the possible results of the consequences are and several that have the character act differently then what the dialogue options would appear to be. It just seems to be disjointed writing where the storyteller is annoyed that they had to come up with different paths for things and as a result a lot of "choices" don't really follow a logical path.

On the "probably a bug front" I had new parts start up that showed different results then choices I had made. In one part I chose to spare someone, when I started the next part the recap showed the scene differently, when I started to deny that I had killed him I was called out as a lier.

Absolutely fantastic. Being able to play board games online is simply great. Purchased games and a lot of fan made content from older games that are hard to acquire. Just a lot of fun.
