This is one of those games where I wish there was a "meh" option instead of just yes or no. It IS a good game - The atmosphere is great and the idea is really fun. Getting a nice big garden and a lush cave full of crystals is a cool thing to accomplish, but the main meat and potatoes of making potions is VERY repetative. Pick, mash, mix. Pick, mash, mix. Pick, mash, mix. Its just really not that exciting past the 5th potion you discover.

This is the best game ever made btw

Really awesome game for sure, its a little short at the moment; I 100%ed the game (got all the masks, guns, beat every level) in just under 2 hours, but they were some pretty good 2 hours. This game is chock full of fun little secrets that reward exploration and poking around where other people might not. For example, on the 2nd level theres an entirely optional and easy to miss full ass corn maze with a prize at the end for beating it. Most people would breeze through the level, kill everyone and bounce, but the devs reward people who really squint their eyes and look. The gunplay is amazing too; Every gun has its own weight and feel to it when you shoot, and theyre all distinct from one another. The combat is EXTREMELY engaging and for a game that reminds me a lot of hotline miami, isnt total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ either. I died twice in my playthroughs and they didnt even make me mad, I was just "yeah that was dumb of me, I shouldnt have done that". I would highly reccomend buying it now while it's on sale since more content is coming -- I mean the level selection map is massive, so you'll def be getting your money's worth

This game has a really cool concept, but the way the gameplay and monsters are implemented make it a really lackluster and unfun experience.

Game of the year ezpz

The game is fun, and I do recommend it. Though there are some things to know before you buy.

The core gameplay loop of go in, kill stuff, get loot, get out does get kinda stale pretty fast. The enviroments are mostly the same, along with the enemies. The demons are pretty unique, and are played up as these big baddies but most of them are underwhelming. Taking damage is VERY punishing, some of my runs end just because I got an infection and didnt have the supplies to cure it. However most of my failed runs ended in just one or two turns by enemies who get lucky rolls. Thats the main issue I have, since you could have a super kitted up dude and if you get unlucky you walk into a room, your turn ends, and guys with a flamethrower or a buzzsaw launcher kill you in a near instant. Enemies are either a joke and you can kill rooms full with a tiny pistol, or they just straight up insta kill you.

Overall, I'd say give it a try. The game itself is pretty fun and there's only more content to come, right?
