This game is excellent in many ways, while still suffering in some other ways.
The world, the things to do and all the ways you can express yourself is here at a level I have never seen before. If you can master this combat, it feels like you are some god. However, given how popular it is, I think the game needs to tone down the difficulty or give the mechanism for players to be able to cheese the bosses abit better.

After what I experienced and playing for 30 hours, I think I can say that this game was worth the hype. It maybe rough around the edges, but it's something workable and not as deep core issued like Starfield or Cyberpunk was. The negative reviews I am seeing here are stumping me because it feels that they just outright dumped a game that had a new controller system that they were not used to (and as of this review, a lacking rebinding system). Also let's be real, the story is kinda terrible and the localization is not well done either, so it looks like the animation was done for Korean but just didn't translate as well. In about 10 patches, I bet this game is going to end up being a legendary game. What it has right now was worth my $70 dollars, I can't wait to see how it gets updated.

I am not sure the state of the game previously but I bought this game on 11/25. This is the closest to "Skate but Parkour" that you will ever get. I have tried now two other Parkour games and I have to say that this one just feels better compared to any of the other ones. highly recommend!

It's going to take years for Ubisoft to ever get full price out of me again after all they have done. However, this game did not include any of the special issues that pertained to 2015 - present. It runs fine, story is pretty good; I am not going to remember it.
for $20 or less, I can't complain. We are also getting a free DLC where we get to go to Saudi Arabia due to Saudi investments, and honestly, I'm pretty stoked.

I have completed the entire game and it was pretty good. This was a DLC expansion and nothing more than that. I do not believe that this has that much replayability but what can one ask for when talking about $20?.

I think everything about this is a wonderful extraction shooter. It looks like it has a bright future.
What I dont understand is why this was sold as something special by all these youtubers about this being different than all other extraction shooters. I dont get it, they're all the same copy but different variations of the same source: Tarkov. Which I don't even like. If you like this sort of stuff, this game seems excellent for that. However, as youtubers out of content are trying to sell it as some genre defying game; it is not.

I want this to work and I can't believe this legendary game has been released onto Steam.
However, this is broken right now. When I last played this I might have been able to take the time to go through the mods and fixes; when I was a child. I am a grown man with a career and responsibilities now. I paid for a product and received a product I cannot properly play.

Fix this Ubisoft, you could at least have it work with modern displays, including ultra wides. You could also have it not crash.

Edit: Their automated system looked for the word "crash" and did some goofy automated response. This game is by all means broken and they sold a broken game. It crashes, it doesn't work with today's hardware well and most importantly, it doesn't have a widescreen fix.

Right now this game is absolutely great and worth every penny.
However to make this perfect they need to:
Rework the night entirely, the night in DLB is useless to be in. There is nothing worthwhile to do and it's just way too dangerous and no where near enough reward.
Bring back the DL1 grapple hook. Current hook is made for the city of DL2 and frankly it makes things slow paced. We want it like it was in DL1.

I bought this awhile ago and enjoyed it but never got more into it due to life.
Heard they were going to take out a lot of content due to the console release. While this game is pretty good, but being a SWAT game is not some sort of moat that other game developers can't achieve. I will no longer support VOID Interactive for their grossly anti consumer practices.

Need optimization is my only complaint.

I would like to finish the game, but I cant because it keeps crashing.

The game is currently quite barebones. While its popularity suggests it can weather early growing pains, essential features and optimizations are still lacking. For those drawn to the building aspect, the current system is frustratingly limited.

Wall heights can't be mixed—you're restricted to one height per structure, which stifles creative layouts. You also can’t stack windows vertically, limiting design possibilities. Compared to The Sims, which offers console commands for more complex builds, this feels overly constrained. The developers should seriously consider lifting these restrictions to support more flexible building.

The character creator also feels narrow in scope. Models seem heavily biased toward feminine, Korean-inspired features. I’ve had a hard time creating believable male characters, whereas recreating my wife was much easier—possibly due to the limited presets or body types available.

I haven’t touched the main game mode yet, mainly due to noticeable performance issues. My advice: check back in 6 months. I’m keeping the game to follow its progress, but in its current state, I don’t recommend it for anyone primarily interested in building.
