A mobile port from the Apple store that doesn't really need to cost 40 dollars. Awaiting refund after playing for barely 30 minutes. Also forced cam really a bummer.

I got this to play with my friends as I have heard very mixed reviews on this game. But this is for multiplayer in general, at least with the mass amount of bugs as of November 12 '23.

The game would crash multiple times on one of the 3 player multiplayer files, the amount of items being available at the crafting stations at any time were beyond the amount we truly had in our chests across the farm, multiple instances of inventory wiping due to crashing and reconnecting, and money of items sold by one player was reported in another player's profits entirely even if we decided to have separate profits.

This was a game I originally was not going to get when it was first released a few months back during many of the various game annoucements for the Switch and other consoles. But after seeing some other friends stream their experience with it on day one last month, it was charming, delightful and ended up being more than just an animal crossing/stardew valley/life sim clone.

With the current bugs that do cause inconveniences of early access, it does cause the player to take a day to relax, come back to it later and not burn through all the content in one sitting. Being if that is a good or bad thing, I cannot really say but do find the tips and tricks from the Discord run by the developers extremely helpful to see how things are going.

Do i love the little bit of dark themes of the possible trauma and 'puberty' aspects that seemed to be sprinkled into the game? Sure, it also makes my friends who do play it laugh with our own theories whenever we find notes about the life in the valley prior to the game's current story.

For someone who grew up with FOMT & MFOMT on the gameboy advance once upon a time, it's charming and delightful to see that they have changed the formula as the OG farm grind to run the perfect farm took forever to make everything work out.
With most of the interactions and scenes with the bachelor/bachelorette casts are more or less from the same from the original content, it was good to see the new variety of additional and secret candidates released.

For a game I barely put a dent into playing when I first bought the game, I was excited and intrigued by the game play feels from the start. I will admit one of the sketchy bits of this game has to be that this game can become fairly straight forward from area to area, due to events of rocks falling or blocking certain passages once passed, or it's not the most clear game play in the world with a shaky camera before readjusting the settings to and fro for the mouse.
Only issue that bothers me with this game has to be the settings for when you have a shoot a gun, because it bounces the camera too much once a shot is fired once.
