Lotro is one of the great pillars of the MMO genre and one of the one remaining old one's which is staying true to itself. Lotro design is also closer related to the Books than the Movies so the depth the game has is simply massive.

This game is excellent, but its biggest issue is that it severely lacks enjoyable, replayable content. While it does have boss fights and PvP that players can engage with continuously, those elements get old quickly. Unlike games that lean more heavily into the MMO genre, offering lengthy dungeons and raids as endgame content for each region/expansion, alongside PvP, this game currently has no proper dungeons or raids. Instead, it relies on instanced boss fights and PvP.

After Fortnite style PvP, it does include a PvE single-player campaign, but at the moment it is extremely brief. Since its global release, a player who plays casually every other day could finish the story well before 1st week of December 2025. After that, there is little to do beyond a limited number of side missions, until the next regional update arrives sometime in early 2026.

Unless you are someone who enjoys replaying the same boss fights over and over again or prefers Fortnite-style PvP, this game will likely not remain enjoyable for long.

Though the game is absolutely stunning, and one of the few titles that isn’t trying to push overt political messages. Which has become common in today’s video game industry, the lack of content between major updates will definitely hurt it in the long run. This is especially notable when compared to the Eastern game industry, which is thriving, while much of the Western industry feels like it’s stalling on the runway.

Sengoku Dynasty, an ambitious blend of survival, building, and open-world exploration, aims to transport players into feudal Japan with community-building mechanics and immersive gameplay. Unfortunately, while the concept is promising, the game currently struggles with significant technical issues that undermine the overall experience.

Performance and Stability Issues:
The most pressing problem is the game’s poor optimization and unstable performance. Frequent lag spikes disrupt gameplay, and the game often becomes unresponsive for several minutes before recovering. In addition, full crashes occur on occasion, forcing progress to be lost. These problems make it difficult to enjoy the game as intended and contribute to a frustrating experience. Because of this, I currently cannot recommend Sengoku Dynasty to most players. Unless you are a true fan of survival games and are willing to commit despite the technical setbacks, it may be wiser to put your money toward a more stable title at this time.

Gameplay Impact:
Much of my time spent in Sengoku Dynasty was devoted to troubleshooting or waiting for the game to respond rather than actively playing. This prevented me from fully experiencing the depth of the survival, crafting, and settlement-building systems the game offers, and it made the gameplay feel frustrating and tedious.

Potential and Promise:
Despite these issues, Sengoku Dynasty does show promise. The setting, concept, and scale of ambition could create a unique experience if performance concerns are properly addressed. With improved stability and optimizations, the game could grow into a strong entry in the survival-building genre.

Conclusion:
At its current state, Sengoku Dynasty is hindered by severe lag, lengthy freezes, and frequent crashes, making it difficult to recommend for most players. Only those who are deeply invested in the survival genre and willing to work around the current problems may find value here. For everyone else, it may be best to wait for significant updates before considering a purchase.

Since its launch, Crusader Kings III (CK3) has struggled with optimization, requiring high-performance "god-tier" computers or even server-level setups to run smoothly. Unfortunately, the developers have rarely prioritized fixing the persistent bugs and glitches that consume system resources like a power-hungry Chrome browser, leading to frequent lags and crashes.

Despite the community's efforts, mods have done little to address these fundamental performance issues—problems that should have been resolved before release. Instead of focusing on these core fixes, the developers seem to prioritize releasing new content, leaving the game’s technical flaws largely untouched.

While CK3 remains a solid game with an ambitious premise that delivers well in some areas, its management and execution fall short, offering half-baked results. Long-time fans of the Crusader Kings franchise or the grand strategy genre will likely still buy it. However, for newcomers to the series or genre, I’d advise looking elsewhere. Smaller development teams have created better-optimized and more playable alternatives that won’t frustrate you with unaddressed performance issues.

My Journey with Space Marine 2: Highs and Lows

Got it! Here’s the revised version with that clarification:

After playing for a week or two, I found myself stepping away because the gameplay became a bit too repetitive for my taste. Even as a casual gamer, I tried tackling the max difficulty but didn't find it particularly appealing. As someone who occasionally makes videos and is looking to get back into streaming, I'm planning to create at least one playthrough video series for Space Marine 2. However, in the long run, I don’t see myself continuing to play it because I don’t think it’s the type of game I want to stream. The need to focus on combos, bosses, and regular mobs can be overwhelming for me, especially since I tend to struggle with tracking everything in combat.

Additionally, the battle arenas felt like a letdown—they seemed more like broom closets than the practice spaces and dueling grounds I was expecting. That said, the campaign was fantastic; it really was a masterpiece for a Warhammer 40K title. Unfortunately, the multiplayer experience felt rather hollow and dull. It reminded me of Call of Duty multiplayer, but without the lobby features, and the small, walkable platforms didn’t quite capture the intensity I was hoping for.

Warhammer games like these are rare, and ones that are not just standard "kill everything that walks and talks" are even rarer. A Warhammer FPS is also rare, so taking that into account, this game is just awesome for what it delivers. I really wish it was given more love than it did, but for what it has to offer, it deserves attention. Players need to show the industry that Warhammer fans want more than just good strategy games; we also want fun FPS games like this one.

Dragon’s Dogma 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the original action RPG, has garnered attention for its ambitious gameplay and world-building. However, the game is not without its flaws, as it grapples with optimization issues, an unconventional save system, and other gameplay setbacks.

Optimization Issues:
The game’s optimization poses a significant challenge, reminiscent of the notorious launch of Cyberpunk 2077. While the game runs relatively smoothly in the introductory zones, it struggles to maintain stable frame rates, fluctuating between 20-60 FPS on various gaming systems. This issue particularly affects regular systems, creating an intense workload on the CPU and GPU, hindering the overall gaming experience.

Unconventional Save System:
Dragon’s Dogma 2 introduces a unique yet questionable save system, relying on resting at inns for game progress. Priced at a steep 2k Gold per night, this system has drawn criticism for its impracticality and the potential to inadvertently overwrite crucial progress, leading to frustrating setbacks for players.

Ineffective Pawn System:
The pawn system, a feature carried over from the original game, has been marred by inefficiency in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Pawns, instead of providing timely support, often exhibit questionable decision-making, leading to frustration for players as they struggle to receive essential healing and assistance during critical moments.

Noteworthy Features:
Despite its drawbacks, Dragon’s Dogma 2 introduces intriguing elements such as the Dragonplague, a compelling mechanic that adds an element of danger and consequence to the game. The limitation on fast travel, while sometimes tiresome, contributes to a sense of immersion and challenge.

Conclusion:
Dragon’s Dogma 2, while ambitious and immersive, is hindered by its optimization issues, unconventional save system, and some ineffective gameplay mechanics. The game's potential is evident, but it falls short of delivering a seamless gaming experience, making it challenging to recommend at full price. However, with notable features such as the Dragonplague system and limited fast travel, the game still holds promise for players who can overlook its current setbacks.

In conclusion, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a game with immense potential, but its present issues make it difficult to recommend at its current price point. As the developers address these issues, the game’s appeal may increase, but for now, it may be best to wait for substantial improvements or significant discounts before considering a purchase.
