I purchased this game during the winter sale and I can confidently say it is some of the most fun and entertaining gameplay I have experienced a very long time. The game is a lot like a more linear dark souls with a very pleasing Star Wars polish. The lightsaber combat is immersive and weighty and the boss battles are challenging enough to feel very engaged but not to the point of wanting to smash my controller on the floor. I played through on the second highest difficulty (Jedi Master I believe) and it seems to be a good balance between difficulty and fun. I ended up completing the game in ~22 hours with pretty laid back exploration, doubling back fairly often and not rushing through anything. Now that I am more comfortable with the combat and mechanics I will be replaying it on the highest difficulty and will be aiming for 100% completion which is something I VERY rarely do in games, which speaks to the entertainment value of this title. The pacing of the game is very consistent and even on the most complicated to navigate world, Zeffo, exploring the labyrinth of caves was very fun and I was on the edge of my seat, looking forward to what is around the next turn. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the Dark Souls style third-person and target-based combat and those who enjoy Star Wars and the lore around it, as much of the game is exploration to find hidden objects, revealing lore read out by the protagonist Cal. This is an amazing game with very few bugs and downsides. The only hold-up for me is the lack of post-game content like new game+ or repeatable boss fights along with the slightly short length.

War Thunder is Amazing

I have logged about 400 additional hours before this game came to steam
This is one of the most solid and fun games I have ever played. This is one of those games where you can just hop on whenever you're bored, play a quick arcade battle and soon realize you've alreadly played for 6 more hours.

I don't think I can fully express how much fun i've had with this game, and continue to have almost every day. This is a free to play modelled game with microtransactions, but don't mistake that with me saying its pay to win. With about 700ish hours put into this game, I can happily say I have yet to spend a cent on this game, and have felt no inclination to do so. Be warned there is a bit of a grind at later tiers, but it never really gets old because the strategy put into almost every engagement keeps you entertained. That combined with the oh soooo amazing combat is just one of the many things I love about this gem.

*Microtransactions will buy you a couple of things, mostly Golden Eagles, which can be used to buy premium planes/tanks and boost your progression on your unlock tree. You can also buy a Premium account which you pay for monthly and gives you a boost in RP and SL gain.

*A large portion of the game is continuously playing match after match, perfecting the use of your tanks and planes. The grind is helpful in this way in that it forces you to learn how to use your vehicles.
