"I'm doing my part!"

Sony has had one of the most horrific track records for protecting the personal data and maintaining adequate IS security of any game publisher since 2011, and strong-arming it's PC player base to relinquish their personal information if they want continued access to their purchase is a disgusting business practice. Furthermore, the fact that this game was knowingly marketed and sold in countries in which a supposedly essential third-party service was not made available makes me question Sony's legitimacy as a game publisher, as clearly they are not even able to effectively manage the regions that the game is being published.

Arrowhead is an amazing developer and has the potential to be monstrously successful in the industry, if Helldivers 2's gameplay is any indication. I sincerely hope they can divorce themselves in the future from the Sony parasite that's clinging onto their success, but for the time being I'll be voting with my wallet and my non-participation.

It's the Democratic way.

Now that Sony has backed off from their mandatory PSN plans, I can once again HIGHLY recommend this game. Not only does it have some of the most fun third-person gameplay in modern gaming, it also has one of the strongest and most supportive player bases I've seen in years.

Either we all dive together, or we don't dive at all.
