"Not enough content, I beat the game in 3.7 hours and a good portion of that was it just sitting open on my computer. It was well designed as far as the rooms and items it currently has, and I really enjoyed playing the game, but there just isn't enough content to play through. I feel like I was short changed paying full price ($20) for a game that took me less time to beat than monopoly, and the sad part is that it would be kind of boring to repeat the levels just to get the rest of the achievements, because the levels are exactly the same every time you play them so it’s easy to just memorize where things go or can fit and fly through each room and level again."

Harkening back to The Last Express, this is a challenging game of intrigue which will absolutely pull you in. The graphical style lends itself very handily to what would otherwise be a low-poly potato-fest. Clearly, as with their other games, the developer thought this title through very thoroughly.

If you don't mind making logical connections based on every piece of evidence you see and hear, you will probably enjoy this game.

Two words. Bring tissues.

If you don't feel anything while playing through this game, you are dead inside - that is a fact.

I can't properly review this game without spoiling things, so I'll simply say that it is entirely worth the price of admission and I'll insist that you obtain a copy immediately.

Double-Fine's introductory title did not do well on the market, due in part to poor marketing strategy and its base being set for XBox and PC, neither of which had much call for exactly this sort of game.

Despire the trouble, Psychonauts has gone on to become a cult classic and with Tim Schaeffer's amazing work, it's easy to see why.

Fans of the Invader Zim and earlier Nickelodeon cartoons will definitely not want to miss this title, as much of the humor stems from that branch of the comedy tree.

Gameplay is generally pretty well handled, with only a few really masochistic challenges in platforming.

Graphically, Psychonauts has aged very well and can ever be scaled to full HD for those of you with fancy screens.

From the soundtrack, to the gameplay, to lighting squirrels on fire with your brain and subsequently shouting apologies, this is a genre-defining game which is not to be missed.

Bottom line - 4.5 out of 5
