I don't hate the game, but TNO clearly sets up many good things that felt like a no-brainer for them to return.

My biggest gripe is the weapons, OG Laserkraftwerk is gone as well as the laser cutting mechanic (you still get an imitation if you gone to Fergus's timeline) the Doom-inspired double barrelled shotgun and the AR Marksman, instead your Assault rifle become a semi-auto sniper though it does comes with a neat armor-piercing mod for armored enemies. Weapon upgrades aren't things you picked up by the places, it's delegated to upgrade kits that you can collect throughout the campaign. Not a bad thing per se, but definitely less enjoyment than TNO. Still boggles my mind the change in weaponary since the game only happened 6 months after the ending of TNO.

Stealth like TNO are optional and still affects only one area before you go forward even if the next area is a door's away. Unfortunately, some pesky enemy types will show up and basically forces you to go loud. Some place have 'em, some place doesn't.

I've played both TNO and TNC on the same difficulty that is 'I am Death Incarnate', unfortunately B.J in TNC is much weaker, so you'll have to heavily use the cover/lean system which are jankier than TNO somehow. For that I do not recommend the very difficulty, stick to lower than 'I am Death Incarnate'

There's no bossfights, game ended abruptly. Many sideplots are abandoned, most characters are side-lined.

Visual clarity, the new engine they use for TNC makes the game alot darker than it should, half the roster of the enemy blend to the background, foggy areas literally makes you blind (enemy's can see fine though).

The DLCs are 3 short episodes of 3 different characters that use 3 of the mid-game mechanic. I didn't finished as I've lost interest of the whole game after the ending. Also, doesn't help my DLC's were bugged and I can't progress.

There's still stuffs I enjoy throughout the game,
- The new base is breathtakingly cool (atleast for me)
- The new robot guard enemy is terrifying
- The different mechanic you can pick up mid-game are awesome
- Finishers are cool
- Axe instead of Knife
- Basically Halo 2's dual wield, but feels iffy

Look I have no goodwill for whatever current Blizzard is cooking up but damn man, fix your broken ass servers. keeps getting disconnected ingame. Is this the game plan to attract more players back to the game?

Bought it solely for the phenomenal artstyle, my gripe so far is the NPCs keep nudging me to buy the license to their job so they can finally give me their designated quests. Would love to see more natural conversations.

The exploration are decent, but that's it. class don't really mattered regardless of difficulties it stated because you basically gather/farm/mine/ items that you then sell and nothing else. Some items only are available on the shops and nowhere else. Kinda sad that even food can't be eaten or get buffs or anything, just sell and the cycle repeats itself. Most things you do in the game is kinda shallow, there's not much to be done other than slogging through the map for your next item.

I love the painting texture when you see stuffs from far away, Oh there's also short, beautifully simplistic game play. Also fun to see enemies that doesn't actually die and still have dialogue with you and not to forget enemy-seeking crates
4/5 very fun

A rare breed of a game where my upmost enjoyment is listening to the sound of minerals being mined.

Felt like falling back to Prince of Persia with lightsabers, but tbh 25 hours is too short.

I bought this at 90% off, It feels like a haunted house/theme park experience, but a decent one at that, I finished the story in 7 hours. Lots of swearing but also witty remarks which kept the ride enjoyable. Also I'm a big fan of gigantic ♥♥♥♥ happening all around. The most fun I had is probably when fighting one boss and the game for some reason lets you almost unlimited sliding in an arena. Could've use more boss fights to be honest and I slightly hate that there's no indications you've entered a new chapter.

But hey, if you're looking for a cheap thrill for a couple of hours, give it a try.

P.s there's a leftover bug right in near the ending cutscenes, Duke Nukem's fine but Gray's became mute for a minute

My go-to for stress-relief when doing assignments. Just play it in short bursts, I found that BR games tends to get stale quickly.

It's like pokemon but darker and your pokemon is expendable. Also you can mod the game into a pseudo-anime rpg just for fun.
