A silly medieval arena game. Blood and body parts everywhere. Be careful of the team damage though.

Update after an additional 400+ hours: Review hasn't changed. No update. Just more hours.

If you have never played a souls game, buckle up and buckle down. It's gonna be a long road and if you are not 100% dedicated (or at least be stubborn), this game will eat you up and spit you out.
If you have played a souls game, you pretty much know what to expect. Death. Over and over.
Malenia is the hardest souls boss. Be prepared.

Early Access Review
I started playing Ark as a skeptic. I don't trust games that people say don't run well. But after playing this game for a while...I love it. The Devs are constantly changing, adapting and evolving this game. They listen to the players and fix the problems we have. Is it perfect? No. It's still in EA. But! This game is miles ahead of the other EA games out there. If you are on the fence about getting this game, don't be. Just get it and have fun. Help us help the Devs to make this the great game that it has potential to be.

EDIT: For those who are complaining about Chinese hackers and such, you can find an unofficial server on Reddit or similar sites and meet some great people. The Admins for these servers generally don't tolerate such behavior and ban for it. Or, if you so choose, you can run your own server (like I do) and it's a blast. It's all about not being stubborn (and only playing Official) and being open minded to the fact that you are going to die. It's a survival game. If you manage to get 200+ hours in this game (multiplayer or not) without dying, you will be the only one. So basically, I highly recommend this game to social, open minded gamers who like dinosaurs.
