Was a good walking sim. Only two small gripes is that it seems as if there is no reason to be there. Even with your friend being lost, with the protagonist actively saying that he shouldn't be there and he needs to run, he keeps going forward.

My main issue, The ending. It feels like kind of a nothingburger that just cuts off. Everything up to that seemed like a big buildup to the monolith and watching it slowly eating at jake as you see it for the last time as something grabs you and the story ends, but unfortunately it was just the backrooms and a black screen.

Biggiest plus for me is the visuals and the overall vibe. I love the cosmic horror type of stuff and it really did it for me. I really love the moving eyeballs and having the feeling of constantly being watched as well, you are constantly being watched. The lighthouse was cool and really gave an overview of how everything looked and how much everything was enveloped. A good sense of scale and how big everything was. Aswell as the giant space/dimensional area in the cave before you enter the second area, wow. Visually astonishing and looked so good, and the audio matched the area so well. By far my favorite part of the game.

Overall i recommend GORE, for 3 dollars i would say its worth the hour and a half it takes to play. I had 0 issues with fps and performance so i dont know what others were talking about. Had a good time.
