As many others already said, the Destiny community is extremely bitter and pessimistic.

I like this DLC. A really long campaign, good combat encounters as always. Storywise is very reminiscient of Destiny 1 with a mystery. I also find it impressive when you keep in mind all the other core changes Bungie did with this update to still deliver such a big campaign. The Destination also has very high resolution textures and great geometry which suprised me, it looks very good

Edit: This is the biggest campaign they ever did, and its not even close lmao

Its not perfect, but this is the best Destiny campaign, period. Even beating Witch Queen, and its not even close. There was a lot of effort and love put into this

This is the best Destiny campaign we have gotten so far, and im just utterly amazed by it. Forsaken or The Taken King doesnt even come close to this campaign

Jesus Christ, please hire some / better Playtesters.

From a modding perspective this DLC is currently pretty broken

Edit: Now it turns out there was a "miscommunication", and an advertised feature from a Dev Diary is not actually in the game. (Effect of Armor not being binary)

How noone working on the game noticed that over months and only clarified the situation after it got reported is baffling and a dangerous precedent

Basically, dev diaries can now be viewed like pre rendered cinematic trailers

Edit 2: Its April now. The bugs from November persist. PDX has moved on to next DLC. Unfrigginbelievable

Edit 3: Its June now. The bugs from November, they persist.

Today was the last day of the post development stage for 1.6 and MTG, so this DLC is "finished" according to PDX, which seem to have very low quality standards nowadays.

The AI is more broken than ever, you legit will never have a naval battle with more than 20 Ships against the AI. What are all those naval features worth when theres noone to test them out against? Frontline AI is also reportedly abandonding Fronts constantly.

I had high hopes when they showed the features prior to release in the Dev diaries, but I got really suspicious when they made a diary where a player faces off against another player. That was the moment where everyone realized that the AI doesnt cope with all the added new stuff. Or Island Garrison without shuffling troops constantly, sinking them 10/10 times against a competent player.
Keep in mind that people discovered so many bugs only one month after release. Im scared of the future, when the whole disaster will slowly reveal itself to cautious players. In summary, we waited 2 years for a Naval Rework which still has issues, like Deathstacks still beating everything because... theres nothing to limit the max ships? Show me the Admiral that commanded 300 Ships at once, I am not aware of such feats.

In one year with 1.7 PDX will be praised as a second coming again when they finally fix the bugs introduced with this update.

Comments are off, I know the PDX forums, I've seen hell.

EDIT: June 3 2021. They "fixed" AI naval production. Of course they didnt fix the actual issue but just a bandaid fix, unmoddable of course.
