First off, right off the bat, the game is still in early access and it is still a better Pokemon game than Pokemon itself. Pokemon suffers from the typical malady that most big franchises suffer from when a game company milks it dry and henceforth sucks out any innovation or creativity it had before. This games brings that innovation and creativity in the form of a spiritual successor to Pokemon. Taking the game in a direction Pokemon fans have been wanting since Gen 4. Basically, if you are fed up with Nintendo and how they sucked the soul entirely out of Pokemon and left it a hallow shell then this is that light at the end of the tunnel for you. TemTem is the Pocket Monsters game that we've been wanting for decades.
