After playing for 20+ hours and seeing the updated roadmap, I'm changing my review to positive, because I'm genuinely having fun playing this game and I don't want to see it die.

This game should've been released as early access, or at least have a playtest or two.
It didn't make a good first impression seeing how utterly broken some things felt as a new player, and even after playing for multiple hours I still couldn't fully enjoy the game because of certain bugs and physics issues, but after playing it for longer, unlocking almost everything and just messing around in Live Mix, I think you all should give this game a chance.
It's the closest thing to a new Burnout game, and the developers clearly want to polish it out and add more and more stuff.

Some might say that the single player aspect is bland, or that the map is too same-y, sure they're not wrong, but wasn't Burnout Paradise also a bit repetitive? (even more than Wreckreation IMO, yet I love both these games), and as for the map, sure maybe a few different biomes or buildings could've helped, but I see this game's map as an island that was made to be messed with.
Lots of elevation, roads both tarmac and dirt, shortcuts, mountains, completely open areas, beaches... and plenty of Live Mix objects to give this island your own unique shape. (AKA a million Santa Clauses on the roof of a supermarket lmao)

If you like racing, smashing, building and exploring.. why not give this game a shot? And keep in mind that every coming update will either fix, change or add something, as everyone's feedback is important to shape this game up, the same way we're supposed to shape up our own islands.

With that said, I seriously wish this game and the team all of the best.

I would love to give this game a positive rating because I'm having a lot of fun playing it, but the insane prices of the micro-transactions, all of the separate premium passes and the daily limit on the rings are seriously so stupid and unnecessary.
I am fully aware that this is a mobile game, but even so, some adjustments are very much needed.
Even with Rumble Plus the daily amount of rings that I can get is way too little, I've reached the cap in an hour or so and I can't even buy the stuff I need with them.
And another thing, apparently there are some rewards for those who bought Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, BUT ONLY FOR THOSE WHO PURCHASED THE PHYSICAL COPY OF THE GAME. WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥? I've spent 90 euros for pre-ordering the exact same game, but just because it's the digital version I don't get the same rewards?
SEGA please, you were finally doing so well :<

As someone who likes to customise the same car in different ways, I just wish for the ability to use credits to buy a DLC car that I've already redeemed

(also I love the weird taillights, me need more)

If the developers were to remove everything people are complaining about, this would become yet another nfs clone. Which would be boring and repetitive.
I personally like the slower progression, the AI opponents being capable of ramming into the player the same way we've been doing for years in other racing games (don't tell me you haven't done this at least once, you'd be lying), and I really don't mind the physics. Sure, the driving side of the physics does need some minor adjustments, but it's mainly about getting used to it. or at least I think that.
Being able to toggle on and off the automatic counter-steering is probably what most people need, but they haven't played enough to tell (seriously, I have seen people leave negative reviews with 0.1 hours of playtime)

In regards to adjustments to the prices or earnings, I haven't played enough to talk about this yet, but it's been fine for me so far.
also, to anyone complaining about fueling, tuning, tires... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anything costing cash, i swear to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god i don't want this to become forza horizon where you just get 10 lamborghinis and 5 mil credits thrown at your face the moment you boot it up, get over it and stop crying.

the ai voices really need to be replaced by real people though, i'm sure everyone agrees on this.
