I grew up with Jet Set Radio and that franchise earned a spot in my top 5, so that makes me very critical of games that try and recreate the same vibe and gameplay that their predecessors have,

That being said I believe Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is without a doubt a true successor to the franchise. The funky style, fun and addicting gameplay, and music have come together to create something that I've been waiting for more than a DECADE for. Ever since the announcement for this game dropped I've been checking in on this title and all those years of waiting were worth it. This is a must buy for anyone who needs to scratch that Jet Set Radio itch.

There are some gripes, but they're overshadowed by the amount of good things that come from this game. Team Reptile has something amazing here.

Just recently beat this game with good and bad ending and all I can say for this game is that it's a great addition to the classic style of Sonic infact this game might be the best game for the classic games. The game brings you back to old zones you wish you went back to while still keeping that new style to it. The bosses in this game are one of the incredible points of this game, each boss has their own quirk and it's actually a challenge, not what I would expect tbh. There are secrets and extras in this game that you have to grind and unlock for, and that alone pulls you in for many replays for the stages. You have your normal trio: Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles all three still play the same as the classics and each character have their own style of exploration; which brings me to the zones in this game, they are infact the best addition to the game, You can explore more and more with each character you play as, the music in each zones are great. The downside of this game is that there are no online multiplayer, only local which I kind of get but for a game that has local in steam and not online is a bit iffy in my opinion. A lot of people are refunding this game because of DRM (Digital Rights Management) companies such as Denuvo because they block out modders and possible piracy companies to put out the game for free, they're also accused of Malware which is a big stretch, I have yet to run into a virus with this game. I don't really mind it that much as long as it doesn't affect my gameplay (which it hasn't btw) In conclusion I give this game a solid 9/10 It's the best Sonic game to reignite the classic style, if not one of the best tbh. I recommend this game for people who like to play the classics but also want a modern kind of feel. It's really great.
