Genuinely good game overall. A refreshing take on the genre flooded with VS clones.

There are a few small issues here and there like balancing of a couple weapons (not really that bad tho considering it is early access) and movement bricking after leaving a menu (you have to wait until the menu is completely closed before trying to move otherwise it just wont work), but honestly those are minor and you get used to it very quick. But overall it is very solid and enjoyable.

Couple things I would like to eventually see that would really bump the quality feel: terrain variation. As of right now they are just large, flat, circle areas. Endless run tweaks, the enemy stats seem to spike rather than gradually ramp up after about 40-45 minutes.

Still though, overall it is a good bit of fun. Really looking forward to the next update which seems like it will add a lot of variation in gameplay.

What a disaster this has been. Every step of the way too. When gamepass launched, people needed to completely disable crossplay in order to get servers to work (this STILL is an issue months and months later). Now it dropped for XBOX and holy jesus what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Worlds are different for xbox and pc players. causing people to float, or go underground. Causing houses or other builds to either be underground or floating and just fall apart. Xbox worlds are being reset every time some people log off. Buggy UI, controller issues, etc etc etc.

Crossplay should NEVER have been implemented. Not at least until the devs actually learned a thing or 2 about what they are doing. It is apparent that they have absolutely no idea whats even going on....

Really tho, Mistlands wasnt bad other than you can't see anything. Ever. Unless you build 100 wisp lamps, which is just stupid. Also, the devs listened to the whining players who said the game was too hard and the nerfed the game into the ground so bad that a 10 year old would call it easy. THEN they reverted the nerfs and did some more tweaks..... wtf.

The entire Mistlands update has completely butchered the community. It is chaos.

nothing has changed. H&H added some new building materials, destroyed the food system, changed some combat stuff so it feels worse now, and added 1 new enemy. wow.

also, the AMA they did on reddit was a disaster. they keep saying they want to be more open with the community on what they are doing but every question they answered was met with the same response. "no plans to do that." That is it. the crappy suggestion questions were the only ones they answered. they avoided all the actual good questions. What was even the point of the AMA they did? There was no point.

These "devs" just keep getting worse and worse. Stay away from this game. you will only be disappointed over and over again.

I love this game, I really do. But I cannot recommend it.

With over 700 hours invested in this game, I have seen almost every bug there is to see. Every unoptimized thing there is to see. Every problem with the game right now. But the game is not the issue at all. The game is amazing. It's the devs that are the problem.

The devs who set up a roadmap only to completely abandon it after they made millions upon millions of dollars. The devs who push small updates that break the games AI then go on vacation for a week. The devs who buy or sponsor or whatever a freaking horse IRL. The devs who have only hired one person even though they know the demand for content is through the roof. The devs who think the most important updates we want is building pieces and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ice cream food. The devs who obviously have no idea how to work with the unity engine since the game is one of the most unoptimized games I have ever seen. etc etc etc.

This is just another one of those early access titles where the devs got their money and they dont care.

I genuinely hope they get off their asses, stop going on vacations and doing frivolous garbage, and actually put the effort into giving us ANY type of CONTENT at this point. Not ice cream and a new roof....

and don't get me started on the community. holy jesus if you say anything negative at all you get absolutely obliterated. it is insane how bad the community is right now. you cannot give any type of criticism or question the devs in ANY way.

you type of people are why early access games are always a mess. the devs see the BS from people like you and other devs just continue to do the same thing knowing they will get away with it. stop boot-licking these developers and start telling them them to quit their BS.
