A fantastic entry to to Monster Hunter series of games that is unfortunately marred by performance issues. If you can get it to run smoothly, you will have a blast with this game. It's by far the most accessible entry into the series, but that's NOT a bad thing. The combat, while easier, is more fluid than World in part due to the new focus mode that lets you aim at the monsters and target weak points. Give it a shot, you may be surprised!

This is the best extraction shooter period.

I came back to this to this game after a 5 year hiatus, only to rediscover the reason i quit in the first place: rampant overmonetization and p2w balancing(which is now worse than ever).
It seems Wargaming have decided that they intend to suck every dollar they can from you before the game dies out via overpowered premium tanks, blatant scam loot box events, and overpriced bundles.
Im appalled by the level of greed at display here, and it makes me want to uninstall and never look back.

A Proper Sequel

Remnant 2 takes everything that was great about the first game and builds upon it. The gunplay and movement is tight. The bosses are challenging yet very rewarding. The class system is very fleshed out in this game compared to the first, and they did a fantastic job of making each class unique and viable. I love the puzzles within this game as well; they are engaging yet not so diffcult that you need to look it up lest it take you hours (im looking at you destiny). The amount of secrets buried within the procedurally generated levels are abundant and makes it very worth it to scour every inch of said levels. The modifiers for bosses on higher difficulties makes them so much more interesting, especially if you plan on replaying the game or running adventure mode. (the entropy modifier can suck it)
All in all it's such a fantastic sequel to the first game and does a great job building upon what made the first one a cult hit.

Oh and i guess i should mention the negative:

Clementine is a very poorly written character.

It's like Pokemon, but with cars.

It's Halo. It's exactly what you expect; a fantastic campaign experience with solid multiplayer.

Fantastic!!! It's a bit short (took me 5 hours to 100% it), but apart from length, it's everything I hoped it would be. The Gameplay is so fluid and intuitive, and overall just so damn satisfying to play. IMO it's worth every penny.
Now if you'll excuse me, i'm going back for seconds.

Really cool visual style, addictive fast-paced strategic gameplay, interesting story, replayability, all things i would use to describe this game. It's a blast to play and the story is somewhat reminiscent of Hotline Miami, while at the same time being so much different and unique. It's hard to describe without spoiling it. Definitely worth your time though, it's a great one!
