I'm actually able to play this game just fine without performance issues, but I have a fairly beefy computer (64GB DDR4, GTX 3090, AMD Ryzen 9 3900x).

Overall so far this seems to be a fairly polished upgrade of the first game. I got a couple minor complaints like not being able to control lanes as precisely like in the mods of the first game and not being able to create intersections with Yield signs (only stop signs), but I'm optimistic those will come later either with mods or from the developers.

8/10 solid game, very fun, finds new ways to keep you challeged progressively overtime with 'AI competition'. In comparision to Factorio its slightly less fun but thats a high bar bein real.

Amazing game, very casual survival experience but still challenging enough to keep you on your toes with massive "levithan" monsters swimming around. It has a decent story that you don't have to read every single note to get a generally understanding of whats going on (provided you're paying atleast some attention).

My only complaint is that almost the entire main story goes on in just one (massive) cavern/cave system. Once you get settled in your first base and get the hang of things, you gotta go out and explore to do the story and then to beat the game. Theres some inital starting story about the other survivors that landed here long before you ever did, but that doesn't take long to finish (and you go back to the big ship you crash landed on with for supplies and research, but not really a "story" there). From there its just the main story (trying not to spoil to much here), and all of that happens in one bigass cave system. You'll probaby have to take multiple trips to this cave system in order to get the upgrades needed to go deeper (and its probably smart you build a mini base in the middle of it for water and recharge batteries), but its a pretty linear path to take to complete the story. I guess I wish that there were multiple semi-large caves that each had an important story plot to it, and then after completing that move on to the next semi-large cave, and then maybe one last final mega cave system that would only be worth exploring after you completed all the other ones. However don't get me wrong, this game has ALOT of content. Took me about 30 hours to complete (wasn't speed running, but the story had me intrigued enough to keep going and there was nothing else to really do after I got my base up and running). Would recommend 9/10.

Edit: I don't see any replayability in this game, its really a story driven game, and once you've done that I wouldn't see the value in playing it again (although I havent tried it so...)

Not for everyone, but if you're looking at this game thinking something like "This seems cool/fun" and just looking for reassurance its a good game, you're gonna enjoy it.

Well 85+ hours speaks for itself. Love this game, it feels like a bit more content could be added to it, but overall its a complete game and I enjoy it.

So I just completed the game yesterday as of writing this. Shadow of War is essentially a slightly upgraded version of Shadow of Morder, but fortress assaults step in and make this worthy of being called a completely new game. The game is fantastic and the story is awesome!

Don't listen to these cuck's all bandwagon hating on the game because of its microtransactions. While yes I agree its dumb that they would add such a thing, the game is perfectly balanced even if you never buy ANY of the microtransactions. And in no way does the game make you feel pressured at any point to buy them. Obviously it helps if you do buy them (but don't because then you'll be supporting this ♥♥♥♥ in future games), but its not needed nor is it even pressured to do so.
