It's complicated but I had a ton of fun with the game at release. Season 2 patch came and since I am a lower level player I did not have a lot of the grievances that others had. I do think the game is not in a great spot at the moment, I have been been playing fighting games for awhile so I believe that eventually the team will figure out balancing. I do wish that side stepping worked differently. Other than that I do feel like there are quite a few systems in this game so it is a ton to learn.

Overall if you liked the older tekkens I would not go into this game expecting anything close to how those games felt. I dont think its bad, just very different from the older games in the series.

Took a break and checked back in after the 1.0 update. This is definitely a great spin on the survivor genre. If you like deep rock and are itching for this style of game I feel like this one is a no brainer. Love the artstyle and it has a lot of the deep rock charm throughout.

Yeah... I'm hooked on this, crazy this is gonna be a free game. Highly recommend.

Was loving the game until the most recent update. the game had a slew of performance issues since launch, after the most recent update I now get a solid 30 fps, I have a 3080 and i9-12900k. ♥♥♥♥ this game, stuck with it now as you are not allowed to return games after you play them even if they ♥♥♥♥ them up later. Sick update, love love love it. Thank you!

UPDATE -

redownloaded after the announcement of the Final Fantasy even and the game does seem to be running much better for me. Still not super happy with the amount of content but game has changed for the better performance wise.

A platform fighter that feels great in every way and has great netcode. Resparked my loved for the genre. Buy it if you are on the fence!
