doesn't matter if you turn graphics to lowest, you'll still get sad fps, game is too buggy. too expensive for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to pass, mhworld looked and ran way better

godly game

this game was really good and fun. i think the puzzles were unique and fairly easy but not so easy that you can just turn off your brain, so a good medium. the game left me wanting more and saying "nooo that cant be the end" which i think means the game did good. my friend and i were bored by the story at the beginning but i did notice the voice acting there was nice. i just think you probably shouldnt start your game straight off with a story like that especially one kind of slow. i grew more interested in the story as the game went on and i hope the dev comes back to finish it if they can because i wanna see how it ends. i also didnt encounter any bugs in the game which i think is nice! ill check back soon to see if theres any going on with this game!

Its not that i dont like this game. I had fun but this essentially feels like the same game as the second game except with facebook and other characters are involved in the story a little more. I only got the first ending but i hear your second time playing will be a different ending but i dont think the short endings are worth the overall game.

Im a little disappointed but more so confused. Im confused on why these devs are making basically the same story with the same characters and same ending for 6+ YEARS and 3 GAMES. Seriously I mean no offense to whoever's made this story up but its starting to feel like this whole story is just someone's past that they cant get over or something. Of course people can make whatever they want and its on us when we buy it but Idk maybe I expected too much. I enjoyed my time on the game but thinking about replaying it feels dreadful already and if you need to replay it to get the real ending or satisfaction... im sorry but just noooo please dont make me

I'm mad at myself that I bought this but even more mad that I played it just a little over the time that I could've refunded it now I'm stuck with this incredibly boring game that I sincerely doubt I'll ever open again like seriously I'd rather play the weird girlsgogames for 20 hours straight than this

At first, I thought this game looked too weird for me because of the weird 2D but this game is so underrated and doesn't get talked about enough. As many others say, this game is best to go in blindly. The greatest things about this game are the story (which I won't spoil but is very unique and one of those stories where the game has you theorizing on what exactly happened after the ending), the characters and the music. I must admit that not every sentence you pick is going to affect your story but a good amount does and every sentence does have it's interesting reply from the characters.

I might've gotten a bit overly attached to the characters because they're all so believable with their dialogue and because they always keep you with something to talk about whether it be their past stories, their crazy current situation or what they're looking forward to for the future. The music was also very charming and relaxing yet ominous. The music is actually a very important factor in this game for me because when I think of Oxenfree, I think of the Beacon Beach theme and the whole game's story goes through my head. The music for this game is so unique and just fits the game so perfectly.

The pacing of the game went nicely for the most part. The only negative thing I can bring up is that it felt the ending was a bit rushed. Right as you feel so engaged in the story and it feels like there's going to be more adventuring... that's when the game starts to end. It was just a weird shift from not knowing at all what's happening to "Alright, we've gathered information that there were ghosts messing with us and we now have the right radio to get into Maggie Adler's house!" I just wanted to learn more about the ghosts that were messing with them and what their reasons were but I honestly might've just missed something.

Overall an amazing experience and I'm glad that I didn't pass it up.

This game is good for passing time and listening to videos in the background considering you don't have to pay much attention to it. However, I could not play this game without another form of entertainment in the background mainly because even with all of the upgrades, the process of remodeling a house is still very, very slow. I really hate that there's a very limited amount of options of furniture and how you only have three wood colors to choose from. It's just really frustrating that this is a house renovating game but all the houses I've furnished look exactly the same. I know they update it sometimes but they're already releasing a dlc for something we should've already had the option of doing for free. This game is just not worth the money because in all honesty, I feel like I'm playing a poorly made game from gamejolt.
