While the game is fun and entertaining at the current state the P2P feels very unstable to the point it freezes a good chunk of the lobby in a frozen lag state being unable to play, which would causes very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moments of "Hunter is about to find me but i can't do ♥♥♥♥ to get out of this because the P2P system has got me in a lag lock state" then die,

Played D13 back in the age old prime era from start to finish, enjoyed the game massively, so a D13 vet coming back to Defiance with it's 2050 counterpart brings me so much sorrow in my heart, a game i enjoyed with countless hours of playing, Left nearly abandoned with game halting bugs, Prime example being Kith and Kinship mission a MAIN STORY mission not spawning the mission critical NPCs to even finish it, and an issue me and a friend discovered that sometimes story instanced areas just don't load, you're just stuck in a loading screen, Along side a cheater clan apparently is the cause of a lot of 2050's server instability and regrettably i feel the devs of 2050 and left it abandoned, a slowly bleeding out game left only on a ticking time, Time that can only be extended if the devs finally pay attention and give what the game needs, bug fixes, patches, updates, cheater bans, but sadly at the current moment we don't have that and the game's time slowly ticks away until that player count finally hits 0.
So from a D13 Vet, Trion has really, REALLY dropped the ball,

With the departure from activision bungie didn't just make the game free to play on steam rather than they are working on overhauling a few of the aspects of the game along with the Armor 2.0 they are rebalancing some weapons and armor as well as a whole new expansion and well needed changes, sure some of the RNG grind is still there but its good to see them working on this game to help push it to a better future,

This game is a excellent source of good old classic gameplay while still retaining popularity in modern times, While this game can give a good old classic Quake x DooM time there is one thing to be sure, do not expect to breeze through this like a bad ass, That is what i thought at first, The level atmosphere are so well made with the sound design you will get a decent amount of spooks from this game, The game will dial that meter right up from 50% to 300% depending on what difficulty and level you find yourself, 15/10 would recommend this sparkling bloody gem.

the Single Player is great. but the Online aspect? the servers are a piece of ♥♥♥♥. you can barely keep a connection to it. Start playing a game with a friend about 10 15 mins into the match it just boots me or kicks everyone on my screen and leaves me in a server alone.

Spawn in run into town. find good clothes and a lucky fireaxe. Server suddenly goes down. Wait for it to come back up. Join. You lost all those goodies because you are rolled back, Run back into town. Get shot by a Freshspawn killing ♥♥♥♥, Respawn Server goes down, Rejoin, Spawn. Get smacked by a desyncing Zombie, Nearly bleed to death, Run to airfield. Find mosin, Paint it black, Use up 20 Mins of your life to run to another airfield, Find nothing, Run back to shore, Die from a 2 inch fall, Respawn. ends up next to another freshspawn. get punched to death. Game crashes. 666/10 would replay again.

Would not recommend this at all. The Starter weapons are absolute ♥♥♥♥. The recoil is uncontrollable at times and you cant see where you are shooting with all the bobbing, Basicly this is a Pay2Win counter strike out of a trash can, would not recommend to others if you dont want to deal with the frustration of putting a Mag into a guy and do only 25% damage of that the other guy's gun that kills you in 2 hits or 4.

i wouldnt recommend this game if you were looking for the multiplayer, But if you are here just for the single player i would recommend that, Crysis holds up on it's story and graphics making it a fun game to play in single player. Just really dissipointed they cut the multiplayer.
