I started supporting this game around the 0.5 Beta. And they've delivered just about everything they promised.
The gameplay loop is engaging. The spreadsheet factor is present but feels more casual than most other games like this.

I can definetly recommend this game for those that like management games. You can play it very casual, or go full ham with production lines and logistics.

This game is better than most 2024 games.

Only 2 hours in, but I can already vouch for this product. You can feel the love that got put into textures and models. If you were/are into story driven, platuzzlers (platform-puzzlers) this is your game.

On top of it all, they restored lost levels, pay homage to fan art, and really seem to grasp what the community wanted from a remaster of these games. 10/10 Would refuse the sacrifice!

I was an early supporter of this game. And it's lived up to its expectations and more. I'm currently still playing through it the first time since 1.0 and still have to see the modern and space stages. But so far it's already well worth its money. And it clearly has plenty of replayability.
I will revise this review when I've gotten more time in. But suffice to say, it will stay a recommended game from me!

The Quintessential Hogwarts Experience.

This is the game we were all dreaming off when we were 12 and playing the first Harry Potter games.

As the game stands now, I can't in good conscience recommend it. Sure some people may need to upgrade their PC. But getting frame drops from a crisp 60+fps inside my ship or inside interior cells down to 20-30fps as soon as I step out onto a planet. That's optimization issues as I'd expect some framedrop, like I get in Elite Dangerous, but not to this degree.
And as someone coming from E:D even I find the lack of tutorial amazing. And that's saying something.

The story is bland. The characters shallow and/or unlikable. And combined with an atrociously made rpg-speech system it makes for a very weird and unlikable situation. I am forced to tell people things I don't want to tell them because of lack of options or simply because the game expects me to agree with a warcriminal (more or less).
Where there is SOME depth, I miss proper details of lore or background story. Not to mention the lack of proper lore of what happened to Earth aside from a single story. Yet there is so much more lore to be read about anything after that. And why is Earth a barren wasteland of only the magnetosphere broke?

This review is not final as they haven't even brought of Patch 1.1 (alsmost a month on). But I'm expecting us to have to wait for Starfield 2 before most issues and oversights have been resolved

Edit: As it stands now, with Bethesda leaving ChatGPT generated marketing responses to reviews, I have decided to leave my recommendation as is. Don't buy this game the normal way. Wait until it's 10 euros/dollars during a sale in a year time or so.

I started playing this game way back in 1992-1994. We're 30 years on and it's still one of the primary games I get back to every now and again. I will never not recommend this game!

Since the expansion's release they have improved everything they could and thensome. I can now recommend this expansion. 9/10

Started playing. Went out mining for copper, since it was selling for a pretty penny. Got attacked by slavers, lost and arm and a leg. And now I'm working in their camp while shackled up!
