There are many, Many bad reviews for this game both here and on youtube.
Basically people have said this is essentially a patch for MW2 with old maps and very little difference.
And whilst that might be true (And for all intents and purposes it seems to be)

I never played MW2 and have not played COD since the re-release of MW.
As such I'm playing this game as if MW2 didn't exist and I have to say that I'm really impressed with this game.

The shooting mechanics are really tight, Its rare I'm thinking "Thats not right, I'm sure I got him" Everything seems to be absolutely on point. There are a number of game modes all of which have been fun to play so far and my introduction to Modern Warfare Zombies has been excellent.

I've enjoyed everything I've tried so far and its the best arcade shooter out there.
BF2042 is complete garbage compared to this and it used to be the competitor with slightly more realism but now its just a weaker competitor all round.

If you're looking to buy this and didn't buy MW2 then I can only recommend it. If you've got MW2 already then this may very well be a skip over this game!

Its difficult to leave a review for a game that assaults you mentally for the entire time you play it.
By the time you've closed the game you feel like you've just done 10 rounds in a cagefight. Theres zero time for thinking in this game anymore and any semblance of tactical teamplay is totally gone.

Every single match I went into I used Squad comms and not once did anyone talkback. The Squad / Team text chat is also hidden unless you open it so no one will ever reply on that either. The maps are tiny which means from the moment you spawn you are just assaulted with explosions, gunfire, jets, helicopters, hoverbikes, Jeeps, Hovercraft, grenades and it just goes on and on and on.

There literally is never any silence in the area you stand in ever. You spawn into a fight regardless of where you spawn and you'll probably last at max 60 seconds. During that time your ears will take the beating of their life. Battlefield used to price itself on the soundscapes they created when firing indoors, transitioning from inside to outside the dynamic range involved was huge and it meant that you had a real idea what was going on in the environment from the sound around you.

This game? Not a chance every single thing is constantly competing to be the loudest sound you've ever which means you'll rarely notice someone running up on you or even a tank thats just crested the hill behind you.

You can spam mark people in the environment which makes them visible on the radar to everyone in the area and if Bots are nearby, which they will be as most of the games seem to barely meet the requirements to start past 10pm they'll shoot you through bushes, cover and just lock onto you when they can't even see you through walls which lets the actual players know exactly where you are.

There is ZERO stealth, which makes the Recon class a total waste of time, Your drones respawn constantly which means marking things up is super, super super simple. They've just removed all potential tactical teamplay and removed almost all the consquences.

Vehicles spawn constantly and they're manned by people who dont ever talk to each other.


I can't believe how far this game has fallen. I could go on for hours. This is such a massive dissapointment and I bet everyone at Battlefield HQ is feeling the burn for this one.

When you look at how incredible Battlefield 3 and 4 are you can see how far they've fallen. When you eliminate ANY REQUIREMENT for teamwork and remove all but a ticket consequence for stupid dashes in vehicles it just becomes "Dive at the point and abandon on the way down"

Oh god. Its so disappointing.
Its really really hard to judge how much "Lead" or adjustment you need to take to make shots because he bullet drop off is absolutely absurd so if you come from literally any other game you'll be amazed how high up you need to aim for a 300m Shot.

Just... Dont bother. Take it from me.
This isn't battlefield, this is some odd spin off they've created that no one likes.

So far I've only experienced the PVE Elements of the game, Attack and Defend, Defend and retreat and some special playlists. Its fun, The gunplay is excellent and its a good balance between Arcade and Sim. Nothing too serious but a weight to getting shot and shooting others.

PVP is probably just as good and being able to hear people on voice comms locally is a great sound design choice.

I've played 199 hours of this game and I have absolutely no idea why.
Mostly players vs AI on custom maps. The mods are better than the game, the standard factions are basic and lacking anything exciting.

The tactics are incredibly basic, primarily because the AI is braindead.

This is by far the worst Company of Heroes they've ever made, COH2 is substantially better, this released and was incredibly incomplete, it still is however they've patched it a number of times to finally inclue things like portraids, banners and a new menu screen but honestly.... The stuff that was there before was basically placeholders.

If it sounds like a rant, thats because it is. This game is actually rubbish, I kept playing it in the hope it would get better and I would play it when I needed something I didn't need to think about. That kinda tells you everything you need to know.

A fantastic remake of the original game.
Its been so long since I played the original game that I can't quite remember how true to the original it was. But it doesn't matter because this one is fantastic.

Lots of Undead, Lots of guns, Lots of Classes, Endless waves? Short Games? Long Games?

Killing Floor was amazing
Killing Floor 2 is better

Far better than you think and much more of an 'experience' than you think its going to be.

Only a couple of issues in 33 hours, nothing major at all.

Spiritual Successor to SWAT 4.
Core gameplay is excellent and the AI keeps getting better with each patch.
The latest patch (As of 26/08/2022) shows a substancial increase in level detail and overall story elements.

Fantastic game thats in early access but feels better than most games.

Modern Destruction Derby with better tracks.
Plenty of cars to choose from and even the fastest cars can be beaten by some of the slowest.
Hours of fun to be had either online or in single player and a great game to log onto for 20-40 minutes to break up other games you might be playing.
