As much as I want to enjoy this game it somehow just doesn't play good. It could be a blast if there wasn't a constant spam of range enemies during each encounter while you move as slow as a snail fighting a toad, aswell the crime encounters per night is just bad as its RNG whether you get the specific one you actually need which can take like 1-10 night rerolls

CodHQ has a better UI than this.

Took the best parts of the sekiro/ bloodborne mechanics and world aesthetics. Always feel like the bossfights test you over time on your perfect guard which I prefer over the dodging in the souls series plus the bosses all seem to have obvious weaknesses if you pay close attention.

Only one boss I've hated is the saint frangelic cathedral boss as hes abit more like the demon of hatred in sekiro where he has the games mechanics but plays more like a ds3 boss. Other than him this is by far my favourite soulsbourne like game from any developer, cant wait for the dlc too.

great setting, good designs, bad gameplay mechanics ( hitboxes are trash, movement is sluggish, constant stagger if hit by minor objects)
Game took the idea of ds1 and just grabbed all the wrong things then threw it into a game that could've been the first ER

This game has a major issue where if you own the base version and season pass you can't play the mp (although its dead) or the zombies due to one scummy aspect....
The need for the terminal bonus map which is locked behind a £80 digital deluxe edition or £30 upgrade....
As of now people don't know that this is required as Activision haven't specified its important for the game to work but Steam need to take action against it as it hinders any customers from playing the product they purchased money for.

Either make it so Terminal is by default in the DLC properties menu or remove IW completely as its in a very unplayable state without purchasing useless dlc for it to work.

Love this games campaign and the amazing detail even if the lowest settings is jaw dropping. The fact you get immersed by the intense fights from spectating them and then being actively in the centre is the icing on the cake..

Only thing that needs improving is the crashing and slightly optimisation as at times the game would hard crash during some levels when there seems to be a lot on screen at once.

Feels more like a psp game than a good metrovania game. Although I can say the setting is great the execution is way off, Pc inputs aren't good especially when it comes to countering with left click, your going to be backtracking alot which kinda holts all progress you made and dulls the experience( Yes i know metroidvania games expect back tracking but a good one weaves it into good level design that you can tell apart from one level to another, unlike arkham blackgates thats just 90% fire and cell walls.) Also the controls for movement are stiffer than resident evil 1 on the original playstation.

Game can be fun but the player base in qp is getting to the point where a cod lobby looks more relaxed and not sweaty.
