Interesting game in the style of Saints Row, with a lot of elements from Saints Row, but isn't Saints Row at all. Once you can get over that, the rest of the game is an interesting mash up of various characters with different play styles. Mission and map setup is pretty close to SR, but also feels a bit like Crackdown when jumping around.

Choose your own Adventure books + HD Minecraft/Spore + "Travel Friendly" Galactic Scale = No Man's Sky

It's a simple concept exploration adventure game done on an insanely massive scale. So far it has been a wonderfully enjoyable.

First VR game to make me motion sick... That aside, not sure what the game really has to offer. I started off in a street apparently yelling at someone I never saw, telling them to stay inside. Clearly they were, since I never once saw or heard anyone, but I apparently felt the need to keep yelling that out every few seconds. I played for maybe another 5 minutes before the movement methods started making me feel nauseous, but I am honestly not sure how much gameplay is involved here as it really just felt like "walk down this path and stick your hand into some glowing area to hear the next bit of dialogue."

Early Access Review
Really not too much too this, likely best to avoid unless the price is cheap enough to waste some time.

Just about any flash game will have more depth. It's not a bad game, it's just really short with 1 result.

If you liked Saints Row 3 or 4, you'll love this. It's more of the same in a smaller package. Played casually for one night and basically ran around collecting orbs for most of it, but was still over 50% complete by the time I stopped playing. Haven't beat it yet, but guessing about 15 hours of content if you take your time. Probably about 6 is you rush it.

They essentially took SR4 and moved the story along to hell. You play as Gat (2nd player Kinzie), and the super powers are still around only just demonic based. Most missions are challenges and events, and the quest log quickly blows out because they merged in the achievements. Flying is quite a lot of fun and hoping that comes back in a future game. So overall, think SR4 with demon powers, loyalty missions, new events and challanges in a smaller package for 2/5 the price. Do note, there doesn't seem to be any visual customization. No clothing stores, plastic surgeons or weapon stores. While there are weapon vending machines that do the same function, there are no skins for weapons.

But enough about the details. The game is absurd and amazing just as you'd expect from them at this point. I'd be OK with them pumping out expansions in this vein to continue the story in between main games. The dialog is great and the humor often catches you off guard. Solid game co-op as well, lots of fun and mayhem.

Get it or wait for it to go on sale (I always kick myself for buying SR games at release because they always sell the game and all the DLC for under $5 in about a year, but screw waiting). Even better grab someone else and get two.
