As an escape from tarkov player and OG Destiny player. This game had me hyped since the first trailer I ever seen. I was a trials sweat for the longest time and having an extraction shooter with the same gunplay as destiny had me ready. After playing the beta and 4 days straight with 55 hrs of gameplay I can 100% say I love this game. This game sparked a joy I have not felt in a long time since bo2. You know it’s got a grip on you when you can’t sleep. The maps feel amazing with each map so far fitting different play styles from ratty, long range, close quarters, and outpost being just pure chaos in the pin wheel. The shells don’t feel over powered and have their counters (except for assassin in solo’s but still has counter play). People compare this game to a lot of games. From the way it looks, it’s for sure harder than arc raiders for the pvp part of it, but easier than tarkov. I don’t feel as punished for dying on marathon knowing the priority of the game should be materials and contracts. I don’t feel like I’ll be left behind for making dumb mistakes on a run. The art style is amazing and keeps me hooked. If you’re a person still debating on spending the money on this game, take the leap of faith. It’s a amazing experience with deep lore. Loot in this game does come with audios and text that can tell you what really goes on in this game.

Last Need for Speed game I played was rivals. Game was so great and was even more hyped a movie came out with its release. Have not touched a racing game since Assetto Corsa and saw unbound on sale for once. Bought it and decided to grind it out for my 3 off days to see how I'll like it.

Story Mode: Initially the story is really cool, the races at the start after the prologue were challenging at least for me. My choices of cars were more towards older JDM than newer cars. Once I hit A+ I noticed some of my car choices were not always the best for certain races which stressed me doing some races, especially long sprint races the corvette would always end up catching me by the end of the race due to my max top speed at 174. Still ended up enjoying them and beating the story in 2 days with all the cars I loved and enjoyed. The customization feels more freeing than I remember. Custom livery's from community really make the cars shine or just make your own. The only stressful thing about this game is the police. If you plan wrong on certain races during the day and go straight to night, you might end up in a police chase with a car you really don't wanna be driving in such as the B tier cars due to a big payout event. I had some moment's where I was barley holding on to one shot hp and just escaped from the cops leaving me relieved and hyped about the escape. Past week 2 it just started to feel like a hassle with the cops to the point I started avoiding doing more than 2 events per day and rushing the story to qualify and start the grand. Still enjoyed it and honestly worth it if you have some time on your hands. 8/10

Online: I was honestly surprised and disappointed that story progression and online progression are different. It felt my grind was not really worth it and I had nothing to work with to start my online journey. I still decided to give it a try. Making money in this game is really easy. Free roam has event's spawning every few minutes to make a lot of cash and a lot of randoms starting race events for whenever you wanna race people. I was surprised that finishing the story did have one advantage. Many cars you earned from free event's in the story or beating the game did transfer over. I my starting cars were 3 pretty good vehicles; Nissan GT-R 2024, Fully Kitted S15, and Impreza WRX ST. Not the worse to start and after a few A to S+ races I made a lot more money to expand my garage with more cars. I did get humbled and realized it really is not needed to drift. I'm getting beat by people doing grip builds and beating me mostly on straights. It does have me want to master my builds on certain cars for certain races for sure. 8/10

Overall: This game I would only recommend getting if it's on sale for less than 10$, If I were to buy it full price, I would most def return it. Gonna see how well this game runs on my steam deck so I can play while I'm at work.

I have played destiny since D1. D2 had its rough start. We were complaining over and over to bring it back to the same style as D1. It took a long time but we ended up getting such a amazing dlc forsaken which changed everything. With us currently being on Beyond light the game is having its ups and downs. The content was very interesting to do especially the new raid, exotics, and sub class. me being a PVP player, Stasis has taken over PVP 24/7. There is always at least 2 People running these overpowered sub classes because its "META". 120 hand cannons are everywhere, and old guns from previous dlc's are being overused since many players don't own those weapons. Bungie is still "trying" to balance the game and make things even but its almost as if the changes don't exist or are even acknowledged. As much as it sounds like I'm hating the game. I find my own way to have fun and use guns my way and still end up with most high elo players. I still love the game to the bottom of my heart and i hope the game continues to thrive and make good changes for us consumers to enjoy. For those wondering if this is a game worth buying with all the dlc's. Its up to you. If you're willing to take the time to grind and work your way to the top even with all the obstacles in your way, Then go for it. I'm sure players that love competitive shooters and adventure type games will enjoy this game for as long as it lives.
