Tense and quite challenging from the outset. The dark techno music is great and really amps up the intensity of the fights! (Which I keep running away from!)

The game is clearly a labour of love and has beautiful crisp art and a nice cohesive aesthetic. Runs buttery smooth at 4k and haven't had any bugs or issues in my first 40 mins.

I'm looking forward to getting some more time with it!

Like the original, Nidhogg 2 is a must-have party game. Quick to pick up for beginners, but a plenty of scope for different play styles and tactics. It's amusing for spectators too and worth buying for the soundtrack alone.

Simple to play yet complex and challenging, with a lot of heart. The art and music are great, and the writing brings a few good laughs.

A really fantastic minimalist game.

A mix of spatial reasoning, trial and error, and dumb luck, it's certainly worth checking out. With a solid difficulty curve and lots of variation you'll get a decent few hours entertainment out of it, perhaps more.
