I will give this game the merit of being a solid shooter with good gunplay and graphics. But the fact that this game had so much success was a hype job. The developers went against their initial promises, not keeping it "grounded" and immediately switching the game development effort towards the battle royale mode and the Call-of-duty-zation of the product, in order to appeal to the competition's clientele. The result being that the content for the main game remains poor and the maps are mediocre at best: there is a shortage of large maps as the so-called "large maps" are just infantry meatgrinders where even flying vehicles is problematic. Updates emphasize limited time events as opposed to new content, which often time has been revealed to be AI slop that has not been given a second thought before release. Nothing like entering a full-paid game and being met with Battlepass fomo ads promoting grotesque content. This game has potential if handled correctly, which currently isn't the case.

This thing is the equivalent of a COD conversion to the Base Game and everyone is worried of how it will affect the vibe.
I get that EA is trying to steal off Call of Duty's players, but the "keep it grounded" thing didn't manage to last a month.
Having in-game currency in a paid game is simply ridiculous. The BR mode itself isn't that bad though.

CD Project RED manage to turn around an apparently disastrous lunch and deliver gamers of all tastes a title that now stands at the very top of the industry; not only because of its amazing graphics, but also because of its state of the art level design and memorable characters.

Early Access Review
Battlebit's achievement is proving three indie developers are able to cater to their playerbase better than most of today's million-dollar AAA studios.

Battlefield 1 manages to balance ww1's immersive and visually stunning settings with the classic arcade formula that made the series popular in the first place. And the weapons feel great. Absolutely recommended.

The game's syncretic nature produces a weirdly enjoyable Nuka-flavored mix. As an open world FPS, Fallout 4 really shines. The locations and side quests you come across are full of tiny details; many dynamics like companions and the settlement system make for great implementations. DLC wise, Far Harbor is nice, Nuka World is decent, and Automatron feels more like a third party mod than an official add-on. The world itself is state of the art Fallout. The RPGish mechanics, not by a long shot.

The main character is dubbed awfully and comes off as a socially inept child when selecting "alternative" dialogue choices ( which, by the way, yield the same results most of the time): the so called "sarcasm" option had me cringing several times. The main quest is mediocre at best. Regrettably, many recurring bugs still haven't been patched in the vanilla version.

In conclusion, Fallout 4's massive content manages to make up for its blatant flaws, and provides the player with a satisfying experience.

A revolutionary, but far from perfect ouvre. While FromSoftware set a new standard in open world games, questionable choices have been in made in many of the game's aspects. Most notably, the bosses' direction represents a massive downgrade compared to the previous souls games. A big chunk of them is tediously recycled throughout the second half of the game, and all of them are balanced already taking finger and ashen summons into account. With their perfect tracking, annoying delayed attacks and endeless combos, attempting a solo fight feels absolutely miserable and unfair, but if you do use summons, the game loses many of its challenges. In the end Miyazaki's latest work is absolutely worth playing and enjoying, provided we stop calling it a flawless masterpiece.

Since its release in 2019, Apex has proved to be the most consistent and well rounded game in the Battle Royale genre.

One of the most memorable RPGs I've played. Increasingly underrated due to its successor's popularity, Oblivion's unique atmosphere more than makes up for the game's technical aging.

Pretty fun game to play with friends. A bit pricy if you don't pick it up while on sale, otherwise, worth the 20 bucks.
