This game is genuinely excellent. It's got some balancing issues to work out. But after nearly 3 hours into it so far I can 100% say I'll be playing more of this. I genuinely believe it's going to get destroyed in the algorithm though since it release within a week of the Slay The Spire 2 alpha. And while CLEARLY very different games, they're going to both cater to the same audience. Me included.

I hope the devs see success with this one though. It's indredibly unique, and pretty challenging. And I know I'm in for the long haul.

Also! I can confirm 100% linux friendly out the gate. I've had zero issues running it on arch without even touching custom compatibilty or launch options.

So far the demo has been very addictive. And I'm sure it'll devour even more of my time once it gets a full release and expands it's content.

The atmosphere in this game is something to behold. And at the price you can't complain.
So far I've put in just shy of two and a half hours and I feel like I've gotten my money's worth already.

If you're able to get past some older feeling shooter mechanics this is a must buy.

The controls feel sluggish and stiff.

Grabbed this on humble. And I don't regret it. It's a tonne of fun. And FAR too addicting.
The only complaints I have are small and petty. The only big one is a lack of character selection. The Engineer and Assessor are the only two options so far. And as far as I'm concerned. Engineer doesn't hold a candle to Assessor.

But!! I also think this is actively being developed, so fingers crossed maybe we'll see some more options in the future. :)

It should be illegal to retroactively make something stop working on a platform. F you Rockstar. You're never getting another penny from me. You could have enabled battle eye on linux in a heartbeat and chose not to.

This is a fantastic game. I've always found I have a hard time learning things unless I have a purpose to put the results towards. This game is the perfect way to gameify learning javascript. I started with just trying to automate a few things. And now I'm inputting my own react elements, and regularly putting breakpoints into web pages and viewing the in scope variables. All thanks to this game motivating me to learn these things.

This comes highly recommended from me. I came into this with very little JS experience. And some terrible self taught python and SQL. So if this can motivate a knob head like me. Give it a try, and you might just be amazed.

This game isn't for everyone. In fact. It's hard to recommend it to most people. But those of you out there that enjoy an insane novel brain stimulating experience. And don't mind a game that can be a little difficult at times. THIS. This game is for you.
I picked it up a while ago, and only finally had the time and energy to dive in deep. But I'm already hooked. There are layers upon layers of things in this game.

This is not a good game. Not even for 3$.
Firstly, it advertises VR. But then requires you to use the mouse and keyboard.

All cut scene's in VR are played in a floating window.
Then combat does not feel natural or good in the slightest. The ship whips around, the combat feels clunky and poorly designed. The view window is tiny and the controls are in the center of your vision blocking 70% of the viewport window. And the VR is nauseating. If you want a VR game flight sim go for Elite Dangerous. It'll let you map controls to your VR controllers. And accepts proper flight stick controls.

Avoid this game. Don't give them any money.

Pretty sweet game. Not worth the 80$ they're still asking for it, but I grabbed it on a 3rd party key site for 3$ and it's certainly worth it at that price. DO NOT BUY IT AT FULL PRICE. There are way cheaper options. And it's worth it to seek them out.
