A very decentsix hour game. An odd multiplayer story. It's incredible how well this was made. The puzzles that require communication. It's better to just follow the game's instruction, play with someone and DON'T SHARE YOUR SCREEN.

Is it better than the base game? No.
Is it more Astroneer? Yes.
I am a huge fan of Astroneer. One of the very few (if not only) games I have perfected in recent times. I can understand why some people dislike it.
I consider this a decent "hard mode" Astroneer. There was only one time I felt my death was unfair. The biomes are deep canyons and huge peaks, which make traversing difficult, but I liked it.
-You have access to all resources on this one planet - But things are locked out without progressing in the storms. You can still find things like batteries and medium power systems, if you want to traverse the biomes.
All in all, I found it decent.

This is a fun mix of Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. You move and build a tiny town, have a few characters that you run into that you want to meet and convince to move to your town.
You can do tasks for residents to increase their meter of fondness for you, but I don't think it doesn't anything yet. There are some fun gimmicks like fighting and hunting that elevates this game. Animal crossing plus hunting crocodiles. Stardew Valley, only you get to build out the land as you want.
This is a small gem that can become a huge success if the creator continues to build the world. I am loving it.

This game is relaxing and fun it its own way. It's simple. Could be amazing with friends (which I have don't have for this game, but still enjoy it.)

The world is generated, so sometimes it is frustratingly difficult to find a simple resource. But the updates to the game has made it interesting and far better than its original form. The digging mechanism can get iffy, but again, the updates continue to improve it.

Overall, if you enjoy simple space exploration mixed with a little minecraft. Or a very simplistic Space Engineers, I recommend this game.

A couple things here...

First - It's been out for two days while writing this. It's not perfect. It is incredibly fun. They are making tweaks.

Second - This isn't fan service game for Rooster Teeth fans. I don't see any references in the game. They didn't call the giant chicken "CHICKY-DOO" like they could have. They used their own talent for voices, that's about it.

Thirdly - They aren't calling it "Early Access" which as an avid Steam user, I appreciate.

OKAY - Time for Review

It's incredibly fun. The Mercs all seem unique, but balanced. I appreciate the Beast Vs Mercs game play - And then the twist of Merc FFA as well. Mercs can't hurt each other, just indirectly mess with one another during game play to stop the other from achieving a goal. You all play towards winning yourself, but can team up to help yourself from not getting killed.
It reminds me of a boardgame in a video game Team Death Match. Think of Settler's of Catan and/or Munchkins. Yeah, you can help each other, or you can screw each other, and you are all playing for yourself.

It's a fun Multiplayer round based game. And I can see this building toward some potential.

I am a tank. Tree got in my way, so I blew it up. A second tree got in my way, so I aimed and accidentally blew myself up.

I love this game. 10/10


In all reality, this is a very simple, yet challenging game made by a single person. And it jumped from 1 to 12 levels within a span of a month of purchasing it.

It is a great game for the cost, it has a multiplayer that I have yet to utilize, but it is turn-based on the same computer, and we need more same screen co-op games.

Visually pleasant and fun to play. A pretty basic FPS game with no real victory.
