Speaking as a new player:
This game is unforgiving to noobs. There is little training available except the tutorial which tells you very little about how to actually win duels against players.

Jumping into an official match is like playing Russian roulette with a magazine fed pistol; as in you are guaranteed to get absolutely obliterated every game by level 70+ who actually know what they are doing in regards to swinging and stabbing. Looking to YouTube for help is basically a joke, because most of the "Tips and Tricks" are just "Read the enemy and block" and you sit back asking, "Well yeah, but how?." This game is one that is learned through constant and copious amounts of time spent playing and trying new things, but it is very difficult since you don't get to try anything when you are getting your head lopped off during every encounter. This game is truly extremely frustrating for new players like myself, and asking for help in game is the same as asking people to tell you that you suck.

This game, at it's core, is fun and getting kills is very satisfying. The players you face in this game are far better then you and know how to completely humiliate you during and after every kill, they are sometimes even toxic and try to make you quit on purpose. Although it seems like I'm complaining, which I am, I am also praising this game because the mechanics are so in depth.

So here is what needs to change for the future of this game:
- Better training for new players
- Matchmaking that pairs lower skilled players with lower skilled players, until they get the hang of basic mechanics

Buy this game if you can handle frustrating, unfair and sometimes BS deaths. Spend at least 100 hours and you will be fine.
