Not my typical genre, but I do like games that hit me in the feels and this one hit the mark. It was a bit hard for me to figure out what was going on sometimes, but it kept me interested in figuring it out and things are explained well at the end.

This game is miserable.

I'm not talking about the quality or gameplay, nor am I saying it's a bad game because of it. It's a fantastic game in fact, full of a lot of heart and heartbreak...a lot of heartbreak, like, a ton. Never have I wanted to throttle a town full of people so badly.

Peggle is a fun little time waster. Price is fair.

Not a great game. But is it worth the $1.74 (+tax) that I bought it for?

I don't know. Maybe.

Starting off with the good:
-Game looks really pretty sometimes, just don't look too close at say, the stickers on the cctv stand. (They are super blurry.)
-The jump scares got me a couple times.
-I really like the idea of the ghosts getting fed up of dealing with a demon and making you deal with it, even if it was all just a ploy. That's actually a hilarious idea and I kind of love it.

Onto the not so good, also known as the bad:
- Mouths don't move when people talk. Not a huge issue as I just assume everyone is telepathic, but it's worth noting.
-There are quite a few spelling and grammatical issues. Again maybe not a huge issue, but it kind of takes away from the horror. "Don't look at up", indeed. One of thee worst ones being In the tombs there is a note, the note and the words say different things. The note says Williams or Parrington, the words say Williams or Briton. There is no Briton, so it doesn't really matter I guess but that feels like a big whoopsie.
-The story is nothing to write home about.

So yeah. I'm not a fan, but if you're interested I'd for sure wait til it's on sale.

Not as good as some of the other games by this creator and that's mainly due to the bugs. They were small but there were enough to be frustrating. Main ones being a double soup can glitch that made me need to restart, and a skinning mini game glitch that I was able to work around.

Couldn't get past the crappy AI voice acting.

An interesting lead up with an unsatisfying ending.
Music is good and the clapping is satisfying, but the end of the game is a let down.

Equally fun and infuriating. Cool vaporwave aesthetic.

Okay, so...I'm kind of torn on this game.

Starting with the positives:

I love the train, and I'm not talking about Charles. The fact that your home base is a train is such a fun idea and lends itself very well to an open world game. It also leads to some tense moments if you're far away from it and hear Charles's music kick up.

Now I am speaking of Charles. He looks great. You can tell a good amount of care and effort was put into his designs and movements. Best looking train-spider I've seen.

Charles's chase sequences can be pretty effective. He managed to jump scare me pretty good once by popping up from the opposite direction I was expecting. Also the chase music is pretty good.

The game is campy. I feel like that's obvious from jump, but yeah. The voice acting and some side quests can be very goofy which I didn't mind but might put you off if you were for some reason expecting a more serious game.

Onto the negatives...there are a few.

Other than our train and Charles the game looks a rough. Environments don't look great, and the NPC models...oh boy. They look lifeless and their mouths don't move at all when they speak.
I don't know, maybe the game forgot to tell us we're telepathic.

You don't have a weapon you can carry around so if you run into enemies and aren't near your train you are pretty much screwed because they can and will follow you to the ends of the earth.
Sneaking. Is. Useless. Through my entire playthrough I never managed to successfully sneak by undetected. You can't crouch, are very easy for enemies to spot, and again they will follow you forever.

I had fun with this game. I was also irritated by it's lack of polish.
If you're interested it frequently goes on sale for around $3, so I'd grab it then. It can be fun, it can be enjoyable but it is flawed.

Fantastic game. Despite (kind of) knowing what was going to happen (watched a let's play years ago) it was still a tense and terrifying game that holds up great so many years later.
