Personally, i love the game. Im not sure why people are being so critical. The one issue i have is the "CODification" people are crying for. Not to say its perfect, but even 2042 came back and was great in the end.

I do feel there needs to be a little more focus and justification to the squad play. the way it is now, there's no detriment for just joining and going lone wolf. Squad deathmatch is a huge example of this. From its name, you would think its 4 squads, working together to reach the goal, but its not. everyone parts ways, and are only together as a spawn point.

Too much emphasis on REDSEC is disappointing. Its a free game, built by those that paid for the game, but gets all of the attention. Its Fortnite 101. Started out as a fun building based survival game, then BR came out, and the true meaning was lost behind collaborations and microtransactions. They had huge success and have created something that will never happen again. All these new BR with "different" flavors will never catch up and just quit while they're behind. Honestly I am all BRed out. No interest. PUBG was in my book the OG, and Fortnite made it profitable. Just stop.

Otherwise, this game mechanics are there, just sloppy. Constant connection issues have plagued me from the beginning. I've done everything from contacting my ISP, had service techs out, port forwarding, dulling down graphics, but still having issues where ill get kick for inactivity while i am actively in a gun fight or capturing an OJB. I have also has issues where my focus in game will be super close, leaving everything past my gun blurry.

Map exploits are here, and i don't think they're going any where. It has always been a Battlefield experience to have people finding their way onto roof tops and just sniping the whole game from a spot you cant access, but just because that's how it was, doesn't mean that's how it should be. I just wish people spent more time learning the game, than learning how to exploit, but that's another topic.

Overall i do enjoy playing, and will keep playing because i much prefer battlefield to other shooters, but something has to change or its going to burn out.

I love everything about this game. the art style creates beautiful landscapes for a "low rez" directions. it is easy to learn the controls and the building is really easy yet complex. ive spent hours on this game just roaming shorelines, farming carrots and just building. my one wish, and its nothing against the game, just my own little dream would be for there to be a side game where you just build and have a wave defense. there are periodic events where your settlement will be attacked, but i think it would be a fun mode outside of the story mode.
