This is a great game and will keep you hooked from start to finish. It goes without saying it's basically an open world survival craft SCP game and it does it very well. If you're a lore nerd you'll find tonnes to read and if not the game will keep you entertained for hours on end.

This game is best played with friends and with VOIP in-game as it will make moments funnier and better.

I am a playtester so the playtime on my account is not representative of how much I have actually played.
That being said, for what Argebe is trying to represent it is a very nice and simplistic strategy game.
It is nice to sometimes just have that time when you can sit back and let the numbers go up against each other.

Despite its simplicity, it's actually quite challenging when you get down to it. Like, you might be thinking of attacking a certain node because you've tested your fleet against the opposing node's fleet. There's units that could help them at the other nodes, but no way will they move them because it'd leave them vulnerable! So you attack, then find out you were dead wrong. Or alternatively, you were right! Then the different node types come into play and it delves the simple game further into more brain-racking challenge.

The music is very well done too. It features adaptive music so you'll notice that changing phases and such in turn add more instruments or whatnot which makes it feel nice and lively whilst going back to the thinking stage and calming down in other parts. It's quite lovely!

All in all, it's a very simple nice strategy game that makes numbers go up and down. I would recommend if you have a friend or more to play against!

Elite Dangerous in my opinion, is another failed space game. As you can see, I've put not as much time into it as other reviewers but I believe I can safely say it's not too good. People do argue that it starts to get fun as you progress, but I don't want to have 100 hours playtime of boring stuff before I do get to that good point. The game prides itself in being able to do many things in this universe yet is held back by its opinions on realism, which severely hinders its playability.
NOTE: I'm going to be very sarcastic in this because I'm so annoyed at this game. My biggest problem with this game is the travel, fix that and you're halfway to good.

Game not being informational:
The game has many issues with not telling you things. Yes, it tells you your main goals and how to steer and such which sets you on a path, but does not tell you about everything else. For example, I didn't realize why my ship was travelling so slow after it had just travelled thousands of times faster than light, until I learned through having to search that travelling away from big masses such as a star makes you slower (I complain about this in more detail below). Another example is that I had NO CLUE what half of my buttons were doing apart from the main ones, so I had to learn from searching about things like whatthe bars on the bottom right were.

The Travel problem:
My BIGGEST problem is that the game is SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SLOW when it comes to travel! For example, I might have a mission which needs me to go to a certain space station at a different star. First, I have to SLOWLY fly my ship out of the space station I might currently be in because if you drive too fast you get a speeding ticket! Then I am able to align with the star I want to go to and warp there.

Upon arriving at the star, I need to go to the mission location am I right? So, I have to find it on my map and such, line up my ship and travel. Do I warp this time? NOPE. It takes me there slowly. Why? Well I find out by searching it up that if you are travelling away from objects of large mass you travel slower. Why? Well because the developers want to be realistic, simply put, which is absolutely ridiculous. YES you can be realistic, but only to the fun part of being fun, if it's so realistic that you include the boring stuff it will be annoying.

As I'm now travelling slowly, I put all my ship's power into thrusters or whatnot to raise my max speed, and EVERY travel time I have to these moons, planets, space stations, etc. I end up waiting minimum 5 minutes. I literally have gone and made a cup of tea so many times, come back and I still have a bit of travel time left. As I get close I get a warning telling me to slow down....Why? Well because you are now going at a speed too fast and you end up overshooting your destination, which means you have to turn around and wait an extra minute or two at a slower speed so you don't overshoot and actually reach your destination.

What I don't understand is that literally ALL of this boring travel stuff could be avoided if you could JUST travel to these places fairly instantly. You don't think instantly is good? Okay, then at least let me do that fast travel thing to the star, and then do a fast travel thing to the location, instead of wasting my time with the game's physics because I want to PLAY, not to sit around and wait until I reach the location.

My average time travelling to mission locations and such 10 - 30 minutes.

The Content problem
This game, at least to me, does not offer much at all. I mean this in terms of, it seems like the only things you can do from the MAIN purchase is: Mine stuff to sell, kill guys with bounties to get money, find items to get money, complete missions to level up and get money. Of course, with this money you go ahead and upgrade your ship. Whilst there are factions and stuff and you can stand with certain people and more the raw base of it is just gathering things or destroying ships to upgrade your ship and that's it. There's not much to it, there are important missions and stuff but they don't do too much. So if you light space fights then sure it's good for you because the combat is actually really good when you get the hang of controlling your ship.

What I don't get is that when you buy the game and can only do the above you start questioning your exploration. I mean, it is an entire universe you could just, explore if you want to. The sad note is that after buying the game, you'll find out soon enough that you ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER OR LAND ON PLANETS. I am seriously questioning why, if you are not able to land on them, what's the point of having them at all? Well, the ability to land on those planets is locked behind a paywall that is, the DLC. In my opinion, the DLC should have had extra stuff and landable planets available in the BASE game but no, they lock that behind DLC.

The thing about the DLC, is that Elite Dangerous is actually halfway decent for content as opposed to the base game. The only problem is, all the problems in general, are still there. So I don't really see a point in the game at all.

I realize this is getting a bit too long and I do have more to say but I'll wrap it up in a summary:
- Travel times are ridiculous due to the 'realism' of the game which makes me stare at the screen doing nothing for about 20 minutes every time I travel until I am actually able to get in on some action
- There is little content as you tend to be stuck doing the same things, it's alright in games to have repeated tasks but they make them entertaining, this game doesn't. There's no variety or anything so it gets boring easily as the only worthy thing left is the fighting mechanics.
- The rewards are very underwhelming. You tend to have to complete a lot of missions before you muster enough moneey and materials for a better ship or better equipment and each mission should take about 30 mins to an hour so it does use up a lot of time.
- The only decent content is locked behind the DLC, especially the ability to travel in and land on planets. Practically, the base game should just have the planets removed to show how bland it is. Even then, the DLC does not fix any of the problems in general.
- Ship controls are very tedious (though this may be a fault on my part)

Like I said, there are people who say that this game becomes better later on, but considering how time consuming (or time wasting) this game is, you'd probably not want to take those hours just to have fun after sacrificing so many hours not having fun. This game is too 'realistic' for it's own good and raises many other problems. I found the word I've been wanting to use, too 'grindy'.

Stories: The Path of Destinies is a good game, although it has many things that needed to be polished it at least kept me interested long enough.

When I started playing this game I delved into a great world. The combat was nice and simple yet filled with enough action to keep me interested and I was accompanied by a sly narrator along the travels of Reynardo, the main character. Each decision I had made along the way was hard and it made me just sit back and think about it for at least 2 minutes before I had come to some conclusions.

However, as I played along the game there were flaws that revealed themselves which sort of ruined the experience. I came across frequent bugs like invisible terrain which, after I had searched it up, was apparantly not an uncommon problem among people among other bugs which showed that the game itself was not polished. The game saw you collecting items and whatnot which was to be expected but they very quickly became useless after easily getting all items. The game became repetitive quicker than I thought it would and having to repeat the story over and over, it annoyed me when I found I couldn't skip cutscenes which I noticed played through at an obscenely slow rate after a while.

Overall, the game fills you with fun from the beginning as you're accompanied by continuous jokes keeping you entertained as you play through. However, there are a lot of bugs and flaws which may leave you unsatisfied. If you're able to tolerate the problems and are okay with being a little repetitive then it should be okay. This game is far from perfect but finding out all the storylines kept me hooked even when times were tough. Even though I recommend this game, I think its purchase needs to be thought through more thoroughly than when buying other games as its pros and cons almost come to an equilibrium based upon what type of player you are.

I really like the game, it is heavily based upon fighting and upgrading to get to the end so it has a set path that players have to take which is full of fun. Although fun on singleplayer, multiplayer is where it really keeps you happy and delivers a great experience. I like the bosses but I do feel that when reaching the final boss, I feel that it's not too much of a reward only giving better items and maybe time for the player to do more stuff they believe they haven't finished but otherwise it's not too much a good ending and makes you feel unaccomplished. Overall, I love this game and the journey it takes you through as you grow and develop your world and character as well as having good replayability to the game. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
