I've used lots of freeware for soundboard purposes and all have been either very limited in use or overly complicated for a simple required function.
This soundpad program is in my opinion worth the asking price as far as convenience and functionality goes.
Works as intended, fit for purpose and affordable - would recommend.

So this review is for those that have never played this game, to just have them grasp the concept of how the game works.
I will (very) slightly exaggerate a few points and it should give a clear understanding of the game.

So the game is "free to play" for you to download and play but only up until a certain point.
Let's say you want unlock the next vehicle or skill for your crew - you need (let's just simplify and say) 100 points.
You get (let's say) 1 point per battle completed and boom! you have a new vehicle/craft/ship after 100 battles - lovely.

Now bear with me, to unlock the next item/vehicle/skill/crew/craft - whatever - it now costs 1000 points.
Great, you played 1000 battles at 1 point per battle and received the next item or vehicle or whatever.

To get the next (we are at 3 here) vehicle it costs 10 000 points and then 100 000 points and then 1000 000 points - you get the picture.

Now imagine there been 1000 vehicles and 1000 crew skills and 1000 this and 1000 that.
With the exponential growth and increase of costs you WILL have to spend real money.

Game is free to play but costs huge amounts of money to progress.

I enjoy the game and gameplay, it's just a pity that there aren't many good (if any) games out there anymore that you can just simply purchase, own and play without having to be milked dry of every cent you own around every corner and in game barrier.

I want to enjoy this game and say it's fun to play but the repetitious tedium leaves little for desire.
Wildlife is just insane, everything is basically a tank and weapons do very little damage considering the amount of time it takes to acquire even the most basic of items.
The grind is beyond insane and I find it hard to enjoy.

Fun: Noun: Enjoyment, Amusement, or Light-Hearted Pleasure.
This game is not fun unless you want to devote your life to a walking and tree hitting simulator.

One of my favorite sandbox games.

Great fun to be had with friends - Would recommend checking it out.

Ok wildcard, very funny you guys got me - Now where is the content I have been waiting for since early last year? (I think it was?)

Come on, this is an absolute joke, had to download 29gig with a 6mb line and after all the push backs and waiting and anticipation this rubbish is all that you guys can muster?

Absolute ripoff! I mean seriously were you guys too busy rolling around in all our money we gave you that you forgot to actually make the game you already sold??

This garbage is the result of 7 cups of coffee, 1 late evening and some cheap labour - and that after the extended holiday you guys took with our money you keep milking from us.

Pros: I can say that I own all the Ark DLC's

Cons: Basically everything else..... The map is TINY - Very limited building space - No flyers - Stupid annoying swarms - an apparent move towards microtransactions and pay to win gameplay ....I could go on all day but I'm done.

Wildcard - You guys really gone f.........d the pooch on this one, you deserve every bit of hate that you WILL get.

Enjoyed it.

Graphics are really bad - FPS is really bad... As for gameplay... It's basically getting the game to (barley) run and actually connecting to a server, that's the gameplay.
This should be a dlc for Ark but seen that as we already paid for a season pass the devs decided to do an asset flip and make more money with a "Brand new game"
It pains me that our money is being stolen whilst a company or "sister company" can simply keep hiding behind the "Early Access" curtain.
Ark is still a broken mess but they couldn't keep it in early access forever so instead they decided to release the broken game then simply reskin/rename the game and release it again in early access and continue milking the hell out of their little cash cow.... Pathetic... I highly advise not wasting your money on this garbage.

Great game, a must have in any library.
