Not as challenging as the original game. Plenty of fun though since most things are given to you relatively easily, but does not have the same risk/reward factor of the previous game.

So it starts out fun but quickly turns dull without the challenge or fear of deep the previous game has provided.

CS GO is a game of it's own.

Played 1.6 or soruce ? Great now take most of that experianced gain and throw it out the window, it won't help.

Valve made alot of changes to recoil, gun behaviour nerfs and buffs which is enough to make a seasoned source player to go back to learning the ropes.

Once you get hold on the 'basics' again then only can you start learning the game.

Has more modes to play and practice with such as deathmatch or gungame, and even has a casual queue for those you want to warm up in 15v15 game in dust 2,

Those who like playing CS a bit more seriously can play competitve mode, it's a 5v5 best out of 30 game. It also boosts a ranking system, although getting ranked can be fusterating, as unranked players are limited to 2 competitve wins per 24 hours and need a total of 10 competitive wins for their rank to be calibrated.

TL DR: If you like to kill someone and make it count but also having the strats and extra knowelege making a differance, then CS GO is for you !

Dota 2 isn't easy, it's not a game where a simple tutorial would be enough. You need to apply yourself and have the will to get better.

It's a game of mastery, no matter how skilled you are you will always learn something in it.

It isn't about how quick you are, but how much you know.

It's the same map, every game but what happens in it is always differnet. It literally never gets boring.
