If you are a fan of dice games, especially dice battle games, this one is a gem. Different roles of dice, (healing, attack, block, etc...) different tiers affecting the dice's maximum value, artifacts that affect either dice or enemies or the player, or even the field. I have played this demo version through to the end twice now, and I think I am probably gonna keep playing it until the full game is released. Definitely the next game I am buying. Plays amazingly on the steam deck using the trackpad or a mouse. Good music, nicely drawn settings and characters, great animation, overall I think this is gonna be a favorite for me.

I finally got my Steamdeck in and started playing THE GAME that I have been saving just for this. Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth. I did find that I had to go in and swap the bindings for jump and melee, as I have been playing Switch for two years, but once I figured that out, oh man this game is phenomenal and totally worth the wait. Very very reminiscent of SOTN, but refreshingly updated in many ways. The graphics are much improved while still keeping to that asthetic. I love the bow controls, and the double weapons. Having items in your spell grid is taking some getting used to. I have accidentally used an item when I didn't need to a few times, but I have only been playing it for two or three days, so I am sure I will get the hang of it. They also did a good job with the tutorials/guides, and with making sure you don't get any spoilers in the guide by seeing a skill hint before you have the skill. The sound is great, and the controls are smooth as silk. Also, getting a full heal at savepoints is awesome, and the skill heal at third level boost is a game changer. I really have nothing negative to say about it so far. It has exceeded my every expectation so far. Even the first boss fight was challenging, but incorporated skills that had just been learned, so it was totally manageable and I passed it first try. So far, this game is tapping a 9/10 for me. Definitely a must play title.
