It's fun terra-forming your first planet. But when that's done and you have to get off of the planet, it turns to poop. You're given instructions to find a certain thing, yet given absolutely no hint or any idea where to find said thing. Seriously. You're expected to search the entire map, everywhere. There's a "moons update" but I'll never get there because I cannot get off the first damn planet. It goes from fun to frustrating garbage. It's a bizarre game design decision. It became frustrating and not fun and I lost interest. Pass on this one.

Oh my. I really, really wanted to like this but it's a mess right now. And this is *not* early access? Insane.

1) Not user-friendly. Impossible at times to know what to do to accomplish what the game is asking you to do.
2) Impossible to remap keys unless you edit a .cfg file.
If you're using a controller then the yaw and roll is already linked - meaning one input controls both at the same time. If you are using a keyboard, they aren't. And you have to edit a .cfg file because just selecting "Roll" and then pressing the key you want to use, is just too easy.
3) You select a "Mission" to do and it says to go here and do this, but puts absolutely no markings on your map to tell you where the place is.
4) The flight model is bad. Laughingly so, at times. With most airplanes, you cannot flare on landing. When you're low and slow, pulling back does nothing.. it should raise the nose. It's all wonky.

Wow. Not good. Like many Unity games, the interface is a horrible mess. Too large font, buttons off screen that you cannot click, ugly. And then when you start the game with what is called 'training', you don't get to play. You don't control your guys, it's a scripted sequence, and it's not explained why you can't keep the stupid guys from dying and why you had no control over what they did. I understand there are auto battles and you can set up beforehand what they do and plan it out? But I could never get to that point because the tutorial and the UI is so bad. Things you need to click and text you need to read is literally off the screen. And then, no proper 'Exit Game' button, you have to stop it in the task manager. Just a mess. One the worst UI I've ever seen.

It's better than it was years ago, but the fact that you lose all your inventory items when you die, especially deep in the dungeon when magic walls close you in so you can't just grab your stuff quick and run, makes it not fun to play after a certain point. Run deep into the dungeon, die, run deep into the dungeon, die, over and over. Frustrating and not fun.

I cannot recommend this frustrating buggy mess of a game. The buggiest game I've played in 40 years. There is STILL a broken quest that I cannot complete that I reported months ago.

It does a lot of things well but the bugs will have you pulling your hair out.

Buggy and bad. Nothing is explained. No tutorial. Bad graphics and sound. Horrible UI. Overpriced.

Wow. So, this is one of those games where I wish there was something between "recommend" and "not recommend". It's enjoyable but only to a point. There are many puzzling design decisions that the devs made here.

You're a kid who runs his father's Laundromat (your father is away overseas) that has an arcade in the backroom. You make money by washing and drying people's clothes and from the arcade machines.

The fully playable arcade machines are based on real games and are very very good. A lot of care and love went into creating them.

There are two pools of money that you have - US dollars and Pounds. The USD is for buying arcade machines and the pounds you get by completing "to-do lists" daily. You get three tasks to do each day to earn pounds. You can earn up to 60 pounds a day if you complete all three. Most of them involve achieving certain things by playing the arcade machines. Here's where the problems start - the to-do tasks are not easy, you're lucky if you get two of the three. AND, you are so busy doing laundry tasks during the day you have almost no time at all to spend playing the arcade machines. You can, and ignore all the laundry, but then you lose that laundry income. And on top of all this, the upgrades are EXPENSIVE so it will take quite a while to get even basic upgrades, and I think I'll lose interest before I get any of them. For example you can't get another employee until you amass 600 pounds. The fastest way to do that means completing all three to-do items everyday for ten days. Nearly impossible to do. It will take much much longer. All the while you're just washing and drying washing and drying, and desperately trying to find a few minutes here and there to play and learn the games.

That's my main problem with the gameplay loop in this game.

Also notable is the annoying feature that when you quit the game you can't in the middle of the day, because quitting also includes a mandatory "end the day". So again you lose income if you have to quit the game before the end of the day.

The washers and driers never break down, which seems odd to me as well.

All the garbage appears overnight. Not realistic but not a big deal. But it's inconceivable to me that during game design meetings no one said "hey let's just make the garbage appear randomly throughout the day, just like we do with the dirty laundry baskets.". That is simple to do I'd imagine and makes much more sense.

The early 90s atmosphere is great. The laundromat looks great and is very detailed.

I want to like it and I'll continue to play but at this point (8 hours in) I think some simple balance changes could improve it a lot. I want the darn upgraded safe that opens quicker but it's 450 pounds so it'll be a while yet. Funny, I'm supposed to be physically in the USA and it's extremely easy to get loads of USD but I can't upgrade the safe without British pounds, which I can only obtain from father by doing daily tasks in the arcade (which father doesn't even approve of!!)... Sigh..
