I don't understand why people are so against the game. For its time it was a good game; sure the controls are weird, but at the same time Oblivion was just like that as well. People say it's unplayable, without mods/manual downloads, but I've played 29.2 hours since this review and not once have I had an issue with crashing or not being able to play the game and I own each DLC.

Oh and if you say you don't like the game because "They have you fill out your info and that is a horrible impression for a game" you should realize most companies take your information that this game asks for from you simply accepting Terms and Conditions of their Terms of Service although most we don't realize since we don't all read every single ToS. At least with this game that asks for it, it is transparent on what it wants and NEWS FLASH - You can give them false information if you don't feel comfortable with what they are asking for!

Now should you get this game in 2025? Not for $25 lmao just wait until it is on like a 90% off deal because it's worth even $5 in my opinion for a classic game such as this.

The game definitely has a lot of potential, but it's seemingly too easy (maybe add a difficulty setting?) and the larger maps are seemingly impossible to traverse through at times, so maybe add a zoom out feature where you can kind of explore most of the map in a free-cam sort of way? It honestly went through a lot faster than what I was expecting which was upsetting.

If you enjoy small RPGs that are only a couple of hours to complete, this is for you; otherwise, turn back.

If you have more than 1 screen I do NOT recommend it. The game will automatically utilize 2 full screens you have and if you only want to play with one, good luck because I've tried for 30-45 minutes not counting the countless times it started to go into its Not Responding phase but I can't change the resolution size and if I change it from windowed to windowed full-screen or full-screen it will only show the top 1/5th of the screen and that's it. Never got to play it which is extremely disappointing and only time I'd say to get this game is if you can get it for free.

The game is extremely laggy no matter what I do. It used to not lag this much, but now it's an insane amount where it's completely unplayable. Due to this I can't recommend this game to other players unless it ever gets fixed which I would doubt due to when this game came out.

Game is unplayable without a second person so unless you buy this game for someone else along with yourself it is impossible to play. Got this for free but still irritating. Why give a game away that requires another person even though no one hardly plays and no one will join my room? This is just as bad as accidentally buying Legend of Zelda Four Swords before you knew it was a required multiplayer game lmao

Game literally doesn't actually start. My entire playtime of this game has been nothing but a never ending loading screen at the start. Glad I got this game for free otherwise I would be demanding a refund. I already want my time I wasted refunded

At the moment I will have to not recommend the game. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it so far with the graphics update, but aside from the small stuff we all want changed back such as a larger hotbar with items and more Fspell hotkeys along with being able to use the pet to interact with different things, I just found a MAJOR flaw at least within the first game...

Some of their levels don't fully connect with each other. Now sure, I'm a lucky one where my stairs to descend is in the same part that I'm in, but 3 of my quests are now blocked from being completed because all of the monsters I need to kill are on the OTHER side. Now sure, for me it's just a blockage of 3 quests, but if the dungeon can sometimes not fully be connected, that means some people might get a level where they CANT DESCEND. That's an extreme flaw in the dungeon map generation that needs to be fixed. Once it does, although I do have things I wish to be changed in the game, this one flaw for the game is necessary to change.

It died after only 4 months although it had so much potential... Just another game in the dust...

I did enjoy it for a time, but then was unable to play it due to my living situation so I only made it up to an area where you can feed some lovely men to crocodiles (do it they are quite hungry!) but after taking the time to download the game all over again, I now am completely unable to play because when I'm trying to log in it gives me an error, so I decided to try and make a new account with an email I don't normally use for gaming and STILL couldn't register. I don't know why you need an account to begin with if you're just going to be playing single player (I don't even remember if there's co-op but I don't think so?) so I am now forever unable to play this game THANKS to a stupid error all because 2k wants people to make accounts through them just to play a game they actually spent money on already and now it has become a waste.

If you can get passed this wall, I urge you to still give it a try, but otherwise this is a thumbs down for me until that can get fixed

This recommendation is solely due to it only being in German audio-wise; I have an issue being extremely ADHD, so I am looking back and forth between my game, a show, and talking to someone; with 3 different things I am paying attention to, I need each to be in English because if I have to focus to read some subtitles before they disappear, I will have to remove my attention being given to the 2 others and even then my ADHD will go too crazy just trying to focus on only 1 thing. If the audio gets an English translation, I'd be more than willing to change my review and try the game out itself, but I know they won't add a dub for the game seeing it being over 10 years old
